    I have a XP-SP2, Dell 8100 and was replacing the original NIC that came with the unit. This product installation information was clear and it installed without a problem. It is working to my satisfaction, since installation.

    I purchased this NIC for use on an AMD64 system which had an onboard 10/100/1000 network interface that that went bad. This Intel NIC works perfectly with CentOS 5 (RHEL5) Linux right out of the box. As typical with most network interface cards on Linux, just install and go - no installation CD or driver download needed. Performance in the 3 weeks that I've had the card has been great.
