5 of 5 This is good CPU for money Wednesday, May 28, 2008 A Customer from NJ,USA
I got the G0 stepping Q6600 which is much better than old B3 Q6600 stepping for easy overclocking(if you want) to 3G Hz.
So far I just use its stock speed which is 2.4Ghz and I am very happy with it. Was this review helpful?

Picked this bad boy up with the google checkout discount. Simply Awesome. Great product for the money. If you are thinking about moving up to a Quad Core, this is the affordable way to do so. Highly recommended. Bang for your buck! Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Best Quad for the Price Thursday, March 20, 2008 A Customer from OKC, OK
The Q6600 is a great processor for the price. I have had my eye on this processor for quite a while and finally decided to get one. Great performance at stock speeds and G0 stepping makes it a great overclocker. I originally got one for my nephew's computer and after seeing the performance first hand, had to get one for myself. Runs nice and cool using the Thermaltake V1 heatsink, stock heatsink works fine too. I would recommend this to anyone considering upgrading. Although there are new 45nm processors available, I would rather have the quad core versus dual core w/ faster clock speed. I can always overclock but I can't add more processors.
