| This eSATA External RAID HDD Enclosure offers a high performance storage solution that's ideal for archiving large volumes of data, making routine backups or virtually any application that could use up to 6 Terabytes of RAID storage space.
With support for Spanning, RAID 0 (striping), RAID 1 (mirroring), RAID 0+1 (striping + mirroring) as well as JBOD arrays, the 4 drive enclosure connects to a host computer through eSATA - providing the flexibility needed for virtually any storage application and the data transfer speeds required for flawless operation. Supporting up to four 1.5 Terabyte SATA hard drives for a maximum storage capacity of 6TB, the RAID HDD enclosure features individual removable hard drive trays that make hot swapping or interchanging failed or extra hard drives easy. Plus, the enclosure features a built-in 80mm ball bearing fan that enhances hard drive cooling, to optimize hard drive performance and protect valuable data. The eSATA RAID enclosure features durable metal construction that provides a safe and sturdy operating environment for installed hard drives, and includes a PCI Express SATA controller card with port multiplier support, allowing each of the four installed drives to link to the host computer using a single eSATA connection. |
