Tunes by Nina Simone and Luiz Bonfa also appear, along with unexpected inclusions like Roni Size's head-bobbing "Brown Paper Bag" and Elbow's "Station Approach." The result is an intriguing peek into Cullum's far-reaching influences. Devoted Cullum fans will definitely want to pick up the disc, if only for the two originals he contributes, which are unavailable elsewhere. | | In the Mind of Jamie Cullum is essentially a mixtape album put together by the pianist/vocalist himself for the purposes of turning you on to the artists who turn him on.
