5 of 5 Great sound for the price Saturday, January 17, 2009 Fred from Ashland, OH
Attractive in any decor; it blends into the surroundings very well. With a touch from the remote, the room is full of great quality sound. The kids each have similar units from the same manufacturer in their room. Its great for sharing ipod music anywhere in the house. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 excelent product Friday, December 26, 2008 A Customer from new york, new york
this speaker is very good. i bought it for a personal trainer who uses it at a gym. she says its loud enough to be heard over the music/loudspeaker. plus she has never used an ipod before but she learned how to use both the ipod and this speaker fairly quickly. in addition, the fact that it can work with batteries (although it takes a lot of them) or the a/c adapter is a big benefit. the remote is very useful as well. and if its not loud enough for you, there is a second speaker that can be purchased to add on to this one. 4 of 5 Great sound, great price! Wednesday, September 17, 2008 mgarst from key west, fl
This little speaker is awesome! I originally bought it as another way to charge my iPhone as it cost about as much as another wall charger and has the benefit of a speaker. I didn't expect much out of the sound quality, but I was wrong! It's compact, but has excellent quality and volume.

PROS: cheap, great sound, compact, charges and plays iPod,iPhone,iTouch.
<BR><BR>
CONS: bass and treble are only controllable from the remote and reset if the unit is turned off for a while (I typically find it has too much base!). The "volume sensor" for if something is playing, either dock or input is not sensitive enough and frequently cuts out if the input is loud enough. Was this review helpful?
2 of 5 iH80 speaker pros and cons Sunday, June 29, 2008 Allison from Evanston, IL
The iH80 speaker is nice looking, lightweight, well-priced and portable. However, the sound, especially with battery use vs. adaptor use, is not great. This might be improved by buying and adding a second speaker, but of course that would cut down on the portability.
I have found many problems using my non-iPod mp3 player with the iH80. The player stops and starts (which it does not do normally) and the connections seem poor. The product was advertised as compatible with all mp3 players using the connector that is included, but I would have to differ with that. In all, I am disappointed, as I had hoped to use the speaker as an at-home and portable accessory for my mp3 player. Perhaps it works better with iPod Was this review helpful?
