1 of 5 buyer beware Tuesday, March 11, 2008
jim from Iowa

I bought three of these - STAY AWAY! We got one to work for about 10 minutes - the others would not even fire. Their support is non existant. Emails go into black holes. Voice mail is full ALL the time (and does not accept more). When I did get through they said to return the bad units. I did and after two months have not seen anything back except confrimation they received.

1 of 5 Can't get the bluetooth to work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Friday, January 11, 2008
mswright48 from Waddy, KY
I tried sending an email to the manufacturer but no response. The line in actually works better than my old Belkin FM transmitter. However, I want devices that do multiple tasks as I need to travel light.

1 of 5 Poor quality overall Thursday, December 27, 2007
william from Austin, TX
Product had a hard time connecting to bluetooth, then when it did the connection dropped often during a conversation. I could hear callers ok, but they could not hear me at all - all static. Upon disconnecting a call, the unit would keep the radio station blocked, so the music never came back on. I had to turn it off to listen to that station again. Not worth the cost at all.

1 of 5 Spend your time, not your money Friday, December 14, 2007
ohmagic from Alexandria, VA
Spend your time doing the research. This is an outright piece of junk. Made with a very cheap plastic feel, the Road-Talk has no redeeming qualities. The sound quality is poor and the people on the other end of your call liken the listening experience to shouting across a river bank with plastic wrap stuffed in your mouth. The blue light that flashes when connected is a bit annoying (especially at night) and the buttons feel like you'll break them if you press them hard enough to get them to work. Often times, you can hear the whine of your vehicle's engine through the radio as well. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!! If you still want it, send me your money and I'll throw it away for you, I promise.

2 of 5 HIIIISSSSSssssss Monday, December 10, 2007
A Customer from San Diego, CA
Mine came without documentation on pairing it to phones, etc. Tried lots of combinations and by luck hit on 9999. Worked ok....But there is a noticable Hiss sound at all volume level combinations. Best I found was Phone Volume High, Car FM Volume low.

1 of 5 Terrible Sound and Bluetooth Quality Wednesday, December 05, 2007
A Customer from Houston, TX
I bought this for use with my T-Mobile Dash. I have to delete the bluetooth device and re-pair the device each time. There is no auto-connect. The sound quality it awful and people tell me they cannot understand me at all. Do not buy this product. Save your money. BTW, I suspect that the first two posts for this product are not legitimate as they are the only positive reviews and they sound a little unreal.

1 of 5 Horrible product from end-to-end Monday, November 26, 2007
rob from IL
I have been using Navigation systems, Bluetooth products for over 5 years now and know how these products work from the perspective of the Technology and the End user. Here is my review after 2 days of my experience with i.Sound Road-Talk Bluetooth Hand-Free Car Adapter w/FM Transmitter. Hope it helps others. This product is taking repetitive attempts to connect to any bluetooth enabled cell phones. It took repeated & patience attempts to connect to the Nokia, Sony and LG phones my family own. Connection gets dropped during the call and when there is no call. The Quality of the audio through the car speakers during the call is bad as well, despite turning to different FM frequencies. I did not try to test the Audio line-in feature as I did not buy this product for that feature primarily. The performance of this product is so bad from end-to-end,it does not deserve to be in the market. I am returning this product.

1 of 5 This is junk Wednesday, November 21, 2007
Mark from Hollywood, FL
This is a poor performing product that hardly will sync on most stations in my area. There is a lot of static when talking to someone and most people claim they cannot hear me or I am inaudible. When I called the manufacturer who boast about there customer service on there recorded message you are sent to a voice mail where the box has been full for the last week I have been calling, so they say it is better to write them an email for a response. Well I did that and after waiting a week so far for a call or a response I have received neither after sending 2 emails no less. Crap product and zero customer support which probably makes the warranty worthless. Shame on you buy.com for selling such junk and dealing with an disreputable manufacturer.

1 of 5 Disappointed... Thursday, November 15, 2007
Shawn B from Parma, Ohio
I am very disappointed with this product. I had a FM Transmitter before and the quality was pretty good except I paid 100$ for it. This was a very good price, but you get what you pay for. I am really trying to get rid of it. I only used it a day and I am really upset about it. I do not recommend this product to anyone! I wish I didn't buy it.

1 of 5 Privacy concerns Saturday, November 10, 2007
A Customer from NYC, NY
Sounds great on paper...First some background: Your phone transmits via Bluetooth to this device, the device in turn broadcasts on an unused radio station. Your radio then plays your voice through the car speakers. Where's the fault? If someone nearby tunes into the same radio station you're broadcasting on...guess what? They can hear your converstation! While they'd have to be pretty close to do this, it is possible.

5 of 5 The Hands-Free solution for me Wednesday, November 07, 2007
Jay W from CA
I needed to get a hands-free Bluetooth device and this works great. Runs your calls/music through any FM channel on your radio and you hear the caller through your car speakers. Also allows me to plug in my iPod and switches to a call when I call, and then back to music when I hang up!
