After killing his best friend, Grant flees the scene along with his girlfriend and another involved couple. While each has their own version of what happened, none of them can seem to agree on what exactly the truth of it is--nor how to cope with their desperate flight through the desert. Plot Summary
When two friends argue over seemingly benign topics -- Elvis stamps and Johnny Cash -- one gets shot by the other and dies. Three persons witnessed the crime, all friends of both the deceased and the, perhaps accidental, murderer. As they travel to California to seek refuge, all, including the killer, attempt to remember exactly what happened. However, the truth of his death may never be known, for each has a different story to tell.
