Printer cables don't differ a whole lot from one to another, but I trust HP to always have good products that perform as they should. I did a lot of shopping before purchasing, but this one was the right size. With so many cables and cords to try to keep managable, who needs a 10 foot cable to add to all that spaghetti? Not me.
