The skimpy installation/instruction flyers included are not adeqate. Biggest problem is when using the Duplex setting, which always read "manual." Clicking open the setting did not give you the choice of "automatically," which it should give.
Through hook and crook, I right clickedon the printer icon from the "control" setting; then clicked on "Properties," and then clicked on the "Device settings" tab. I was then able to bring up "automatically" and clicked on it and closed down.
Then when I clicked o Duplex setting, the two-side open gave me the reading of "automatically" and the other options also. When I turned off the Printer for the day and this morning turned it back on and went to two-sided Duplex setting, the "manual" read and when I opened it, "automatically" setting was absent, so I had to go through the above procedure again, which worked.
A printed manual could give the above directions, thereby preventing numerous search hours and lots of frustration.
The printed product of this C6280 Photosmart HP printer is fine and the various printing options are also good but... Was this review helpful?
