I had major problems trying to install the printer program on my laptop. I run XP Professional and could not complete the install. After NO HELP FROM HP SUPPORT I had the install completed at a local computer store. It took 2 days and 5 calls to HP and $35.00 but the printer works very well. Was this review helpful?

The C5280 All-In-One does not print to CD's or DVD's as promised. In fact, rather than simply looking bad, HP has included software that prevents the user from laying out basic text. The user is stuck with one of FOUR templates, all of which are right out the 1980's. You may not alter the templates or delete any part of them. Other CD printing software doesn't seem to work with this printer, leaving the user stuck with their awful templates or nothing at all. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER if you plan to print directly to cd's or dvd's. Was this review helpful?

This was an $80 special "Black Friday" deal. I was pleased it shipped so quickly and all the pieces were intact. Easy setup and it does all the stuff it's supposed to. Very clear print compared to the Epson it replaced. Was this review helpful?
