HP Officejet 5610 All-in-One Printer

My HP-5610 arrived quickly in a factory sealed box for $42 + $30 card credit, no tax and free shipping. What a great deal! It worked perfectly (A-1 rating) for this old Texan professor. Ink cartridges are lower priced versions compared to later model units which gives this machine another "plus"! Graphic installation instructions so simple today's high school grad could do it! I highly recommend the HP 5610 for ordinary USA citizens. It produces beautiful copies, great printer action and easy-use fax machine communications. My neighbor uses same unit for light business applications with no problems. Why spend more when you can buy a "time proven" quality machine for a bargain low price? Spend the left over cash for gasoline!

I purchased the 5610 to replace and old PC printer and a worn out fax machine. The copy feature was a plus, but printing and fax was the main reason for purchase. I would recommend this AIO to my friends, however if you have a high volume of printing or faxing in your home or business I believe you would be better served by a faster and stronger machine.

I got it for about 70 bucks and mainly bought it to replace an old flat-bed scanner, which drove me crazy because it took me 10 minutes to scan 3 pages. This one does not only have a document feeder, it also figures out which programs on your computer can process scanned pages, and you can shoot them over directly from the printer/scanner to the program without even touching your computer. Performance, i.e. print quality, speed and scan speed are o.k., not perfect, but definitely sufficient for most uses. Copying is great, even photos and pictures, very easy to use, no need for the computer, I love it!

I purchased this for $75 and free shipping ... one of the reasons I return to Buy.com ... easy setup although it doesn't come with the critical USB A/B cable. I'm satisfied and would recommend this to anyone looking for an inexpensive printer with scanning capability.

Buy.com is totally the best site I have been on! This HP Printer 5610 does it all. No problems and very easy to use and understand. I have 2 other HP Printers and I boxed them up and wouldn't change this model for anything else! I highly recommend HP5610 to all my family and friends. It shipped to me 4 days earlier than expected. The printer is a very good value for the price. It is not as fast as I had hoped, but does fine. It is pretty easy to setup and the menu's are easy to get through. It makes very good scans/copies both in color and b/w. Buy.com did a good job as usual of getting it to me within the time specified and if I remember correctly a couple of days early.

I was looking for a good valued all in one printer and this one worked. I installed it with a dlink wireless print server without a hitch. The print out quality and speed are perfect for home use.

I replaced a very durable OfficeJet 1175 CXI that finally broke down after nearly a decade of home office abuse. I have little faith this multi-purpose unit will hold up as well, but I have to admit the price was certainly a bargain. On a dollar for dollar comparison to my original purchase it only has to last 1 year past the warranty. It is compact and easy to set up.

Very easy to set-up, install. I haven't had any problems with any of the functions. Don't get this if you're looking for high-quality fotos. This is more an all-in-one-best-of-none type of printer. If you print few pages and are not in rush for them to print, you'll find this printer does the trick. Very slow to print. Scanner works well and software is easy to use to alter photos. Intuitive enough to determine where your photo starts and stops. Very good value for the price.

The HP officejet 5610 is the finest printer I have ever had. I use it for both personal and work-from-home projects. The feature I like the most is the top loading scan tray. I have put as many as 20 pages in the feeder and got a flawless scanned copy. I recommend this printer for anyone looking for an all-in-one printer. The price from Buy.com was fantastic!

I got this printer for my girlfriend as a replacement her old printer that I accidentally broke (which originally cost $400+). At first I was sceptical due to the low price judging by how many features one gets but this machine really delivers, performing its duties very well. So far we used it for printing and scanning and are very impressed with the results. My only gripe is the small size of the ink cartridges and cost of ink replacement but sadly this is common of all inkjets. Overall, very good value and an excellent product.

I purchased this printer for my 82 year old father with his new laptop. Looked for something easy to use with a good reputation. I have purchased several HP printers over the years and have been very happy. This printer is VISTA certified and very easy to install. The printer is very easy to use for a non computer user.

I use this all-in-one mostly for scanning. The scanner has incredible quality and speed for the price. The printing quality is great too. I love the ease of use of the pre-programmed keys, you don't have to turn the PC on to use it.

The HP 5610 is very affordabe and small in size. It's great for home or office. So far, my only compliant is the feeder. I try scaning one page and it won't sensor it. You need to scan at least 3 pages for the sensor to know that you what it scan thru the top feeder. Otherwise, everything from software to hardware seems pretty good. I don't recommend getting a Dell multifunction. I am using one at home and the software is terrible. Scanning is huge and slow. For comparison, I would pay more for the HP 5610 compare to Dell 962.

My order arrived faster than I imagined. Set up was a breeze, once I turned off my additional antivirus programs. The printing feature is very quiet and fast. I am very satisfied with this product, even the old print cartridges from my last Hp printer work in this one. Hope you enjoy your purchase as well as I am enjoying mine.

The best that I found in it's price range. Easy to set up and use. Takes up a minimum of space. The print quality is great. The flatbed scanner is far superior to the feed thru style that I had before. Looks good too , if that is important to you. It would appear that the ink cartridges are more affordable than most of the other printers. You need to supply your own USB cable as it is not included. Totally happy with mine so far.

Excellent unit for the money. One minor complaint (not unique to this printer, but common to many HP printers) is that installation of the device drivers seems to be ignored by the operating system that tries to install them itself (while you are running the HP installation software). The system then tells you that installation failed. Eventually, the operating recognizes that the drivers have been installed, but this lack of integration by HP is noticeably annoying.

In general a good all-in-one. Not great, but good. The software installation leaves much to be desired. I resent the need to take soooo much hard drive space to install a small printer driver. Couple that with extra advertising, not copletly removing the last printer, the old printer no longer working (contrary to intatallation statements) and the fact that I needed to un-install and re-install the software twice in order to make it work, suggests the inital install was a pain. Once it is set up, if you are willing to let HP take over your computer, the software works fine. Clearly geared for the novice, it will do it all for you. Print quality and scans are all very good as is print speed. As is the case with any printer, I set the standard ink quality to fast draft then change to better quality as required by a document (90% of the time fast draft is fine). As such, I expect the ink to last a long time. - Recomended if you are willing to take the time during initial set-up.

That's why they call it an All-In-One. Personally, I just needed a printer and a copier but, at this price I thought, why not? Plus, since my last printer was an HP, I didn't have to buy a new printer cable. It was either this or the 4315. I like this style a lot more and it has more features. While the price was excellent, I cannot say enough about the (free) shipping. From the time I ordered it on-line until the time I got it was less than 24 hours. Good job Fed Ex and Buy.com (and that WASN'T expedited shipping)!
