I use this all-in-one in my small business, primarily for faxing. You can not beat this value! So much machine for the money. It's not a flatbed, so you would have a hard time scanning say a driver's license, but I have other scanners. But for a great little all around office unit, and like I say, for the money, you just can't beat it! Was this review helpful?

I'VE ONLY HAD THE MACHINE FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS AND IT'S ALREADY LOW ON INK. I DID MORE PRINTING THAN NORMAL, ABOUT 100 SHEETS, BUT I'D EXPECT THE INK TO LAST LONGER THAN THAT. OTHER THAN THAT ISSUE, ALL IS WELL SO FAR. Was this review helpful?

I run a small business and leverage the print/scan capabilities of this gem almost every day. I am only pleased with it's performance, especially in comparison to other higher end specialty products (e.g. duplex scanner). It's not the fastest, but it works every time, without fail - and at this price I only wish I would have bought it sooner. HP, I will never betray you again by buying another brand. The OfficeJet 4315 does what it says it will do (fax, scan and print) well and at a very competitive price. Sure, it could do all them faster and at higher resolutions, but consider what you are paying for this bargain. The sheet-fed scanner is the killer app for me, creating PDFs of multipage expense reports and other documents with ease. Was this review helpful?

I was surprised to find an all-in- one at such a great price. Plus free shipping and $30 off with a buy.com credit card. A no brainer. I really wanted a reasonably priced all-in-one machine for the convenience of being able to fax something from home, make a quick copy of something, and even scan hard-copy pictures. I purchased this all-in-one from Buy.com in 9/2006 and have had no problems whatsoever with it. No paper jams, no ink bleeding, no malfunctions, excellent print quality - comparable to a laserjet. This all-in-one is amazingly compact for it's capabilities. I love that I can fax, copy, scan and print, all from the same machine. It comes with easy to follow set-up instructions and great comprehensive HP software that's very user-friendly for those of us who aren't proficient with scanning images, etc. I also researched the cost of replacement cartridges prior to the purchase and found that they're reasonably priced as well. Overall, this machine has not only met my needs, but exceeded my expectations for ease of use and quality of output. I highly recommend this product to those of you who are looking for a decent all-in-one machine at a great price that doesn't hog your desktop for space.
