The DeskJet 9800 is a PC and Macintosh compatible printer that features HP's enhanced PhotoREt III color layering providing advanced photographic reproduction, color accuracy and contrast, and image clarity. The printer features a 4800 x 1200 dpi optimized resolution for photo paper that results in excellent color pictures and 1200 x 1200 dpi for rich, crisp black printouts.

With 30 pages per minute in black, and 20 in color, the DeskJet 9800 features impressive speed and versatility. Results are excellent, no matter what type of media you use. Create the business documents you need in a range of types and sizes. You can choose from HP Premium Photo Papers, banner papers, transparencies, heavyweight papers, and everyday bright white papers in sizes ranging from 4 by 6 inch photo paper to 13 by 19 inch poster paper.

The DeskJet 9800 is compact in size and features quiet operation so it's perfect for small workplaces. It produces a monthly duty cycle of 5,000 pages. With USB and parallel interfaces, you choose how you want to connect it. There's even an optional HP JetDirect 175x Print Server available for linking multiple home computers.
