5 of 5 Best price, Easier to use than other HP models Friday, November 30, 2007 A Customer from Sacramento, CA
I am a student in the CFP program, a friend told me that the HP 17 was a better choice than the HP10 or 12. I own the HP10 and the HP 17 is easier to use with formula memory capability. Buy.com is best price I could find. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Best Business/Financial Calculator Available Tuesday, May 02, 2006 Edgar from St Charles, IL
While the 17BII+ is more expensive than the 10BII (almost three times as much), the ease of use of its 2-line display which affords it an on-screen menu makes the extra expense worthwhile. Try doing a loan amortization on each and you'll see what I mean. I've used an HP financial calculator since 1986, so over the years, I've owned two 19BII+, a 12C (which I quickly returned), two 10BII and, with this latest purchase, two 17BII+. So in my opinion, without question, the 17BII+ is the best business calculator for the financial professional. For the student and budget minded, the 10BII is a very good second option.
