Editor's Note
"The Man in the Blue Suit" (originally aired on May 1, 1954) and "Vacation at Fred's Landing" (originally aired on June 20, 1953), are the episodes contained in this volume. In "The Man in the Blue Suit", Alice gives an old suit jacket to charity, not realizing that Ralph's poker winnings are in the jacket's pocket. In "Vacation at Fred's Landing", Ralph and Ed insist that the two couples should spend their summer vacation camping and fishing. This episode was the first skit to run for a half-hour.
Plot Summary
The Lost Episodes of "The Honeymooners" had not been seen since their original broadcast in the 1950s. They were "found" in 1984 by star Jackie Gleason. Volume 39 of the lost episodes includes "The Man in the Blue Suit" and "Vacation at Fred's Landing."
