LIFE ON THE STREET just got tougher again, as the HOMICIDE team reunites for a seventh season of exploits. Set in Baltimore, this hugely popular show featured stories based on real-life instances of crime, then developed them to incorporate the HOMICIDE cast. In this season guest directors such as Lisa Cholodenko and Brad Anderson stop by to offer their talents, but always sticking to the gritty, hand-held camerawork that made the show its name. Eschewing the traditional trappings of standard televised cop fare, HOMICIDE instead focused on getting the details that surround any police work exactly correct, creating a thrilling insight into what life as an officer of the law could be like.
