I'm a webcam newbie but otherwise a tech professional. This was the cheapest camera with a brand name I recognized. I was surprised it's actually made of metal and is fairly sturdy. The lens is nicer than most low-end models. I plugged it in, clipped it on, and it worked right from the start (I use Skype). I'm very satisfied. Was this review helpful?

I bought this for my fiance' since we are far away from each other right now. We use it on Skype and the quality is superb and the the lights on the camera are really helpful for seeing her beautiful face in the dark. Definitely worth every penny and even more.
