The Hercules i-XPS 120 Outdoor is the first speaker system for iPod that is both shockproof and water-resistant! Its watertight enclosure protects your iPod from water splashes, sand and dust; its transducers offer magnetic insulation, and the Line In connector is also protected. Its well-designed draining system allows for quick and efficient removal of all annoying 'projections', thus avoiding any damage to your iPod. The shock resistant rubber corners offer extreme protection against knocks and bumps.
For complete freedom, the i-XPS 120 Outdoor can operate on 4 size C (LR14) batteries (not supplied) or be connected to the mains or any in car cigarette lighter (adapter supplied). Its rugged design and rear handle allow for very convenient transportation.

I am very satisfied with my purchase. This is the only product I was able to find that gives my iPod protection from water and dirt etc while we are at the beach or around the pool. It is compact, lightweight and well built. The sound quality it quite good considering it's size, it has clear mids and highs and achieves a respectable amount of bass. I could not find this product in any local stores to physically see it so I was a little concerned when ordering but after receiving it I was pleasantly surprised! Was this review helpful?

I bought these ipod speakers for my husband so we could take the ipod in our boat and to use outside. Since it is December, we have not had much of a chance to use it outside. However, we have used it around the house. The speakers get fairly loud and it is very easy to use. My only complaint is that it would be useful to have a remote control with this system. My husband did take this to work (he works in a kitchen) and he said it worked great because he didn't have to touch the ipod itself and it kept any kind of food spillage off of it. Can't wait to try it outside!! Was this review helpful?
