This version of Hawking signal boosters did in fact work for me and gave me a noticable increase in signal strength to my remote site. I did not mount it on the wall but it still works well. Picks up 2 more wireless networks close to my home, and boosts the power by 10 - 15 db. The antenna is a little more directional than the omni, so it takes a while to locate it in the perfect spot. It blows away my omni for signal strength. No more lost connections. It is smaller than the picture indicates, and well finished, but ugly in a corner. Works great on top of my bookcase, and in the corner of my computer cabinate. Was this review helpful?

I tried everything but my SMC g router just was not doing the job. Connected this antenna and now I have good signal in every room. Installs in 3 minutes, a little pricey but well worth the money. Was this review helpful?

Hawking Tech HAI15SC :very satisifed with improved performance with home wireless network (not G, only B). This weekend was a test with three simultaneous users in the house. I was able to maintain my subscription streaming audio service to my laptop for the first time, two rooms and three walls away from the router. At that end of the house signal quality was always below 50% to two different laptops. With the amplifer, signal strength and quality of signal were consistently above 70% and closer to 85%. Before using the amplifier, my DLink wireless connection always said "low". With the amplifier, the connection is always "good" or "very good".
I don't know about you, but many things used to "enhance" a device normally prove somewhat disappointing. This amplifier has done it's job for us. I have yet to "test" to see if outdoor range has improved, but that wasn't our immediate need. If it does indeed reach to where the hammock is located, I'm all set! Was this review helpful?
