Got this to record analog TV shows because my Hauppauge HD PVR doesn't have a coaxial input and my TV doesn't have any video outputs. Also came in handy to watch TV on my 24" PC LCD while I'm waiting to get a new TV. The tuner card comes with software to watch and record but I prefer Windows Media Center (using Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit) and that does all I need and it looks nicer. So far this product has done all I wanted very well and I needed a card that I could use with the 1x PCIe slot due to space restrictions in my case. Was this review helpful?

I installed this to be used by Windows Media Center in my Windows 7 computer. I had read online that the analog channel quality was not great, and that is true. However, I bought this so I could record my favorite programs broadcast in HD and this is where the card delivers. Great picture!! I didn't install the WinTV software and I don't use the remote provided, so I can't comment on those. Was this review helpful?
