I've purchased four pair of these ceiling speakers and really love the sound. They respond well to the many genres we play in the house. The bass could be a little better but still quite acceptable. I suplement the system with a sub-woofer near the center of the house but it's really not necessary. I'm finishing up a total renovation of my home so I had easy access to run wires. The remainder of installation is very easy. Just cut a hole in the drywall using the template, hook up two wires with quick connects, slide the assembly into the opening, tighten four screws,snap on the cover and enjoy the sound. It's awesome having the clean JBL sound in every room without having to blast the sound in one room to hear it. The speakers are a great value, especially if you shop around for a deal.
