5 of 5 Inexpensive, professional looking. Tuesday, January 27, 2009 David from Pullman, Wa
I bought this as a gift and he loved it. At first the pictures looked grainy after loading a bunch on the 2gd SD card put into it, but after reading reviews here and the documentation the pictures look best when cropped to about 700x400. They really only look grainy at about 1' away from it which usually isn't how close your viewing it. The brightness of the screen is excellent, and can be seen easily in a well lit room.
It is very easy to operate and conveniently has an on-off switch (something a different model I purchased for my mother didn't have). The only downfall to it is that it doesn't have a random picture option, but that can be easily overcome by the order your files are organized, simply drag them around or choose a sort option like "by size" or "by time" and they will be somewhat random.
Overall a great frame for the price. Was this review helpful?
3 of 5 Less resolution and grainy pictures Tuesday, January 06, 2009 Raj from Houston
I know i cannot expect a great resolution for a product in this prioe range but this frame can produce some grainy pictures when you are standing just 2 feet way for viewing
The other features are good and the interface is easy to Use but the photos look worse whn viewed closer than 2 feet
YOU cannot bear to see your pictures distorted so badly (but most pictures should be fine when viewed from more than 5 ft away)
My humble opinion is to see shell a few more bucks and but a higher resolution Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 GREAT LITTLE PHOTO FRAME Tuesday, January 06, 2009 BILL from NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI
JUST RECEIVED THIS PHOTO FRAME YESTERDAY SO I CAN'T COMMENT ON IT'S DURABILITY, HOWEVER, I CANNOT UNDERSTAND SOME OF THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS I HAVE READ ABOUT THIS PRODUCT. FOR $41.00, I THINK IT IS A PRETTY GOOD PICTURE FRAME. THE PICTURE IS CLEAR, THE COLORS ARE FINE, IT SEEMS TO BE WELL BUILT, AND WORKS FLAWLESSLY. WHAT MORE CAN YOU ASK FOR IN AN ENTRY LEVEL PHOTO FRAME. THE ONLY NEGATIVE THING I COULD SAY ABOUT THIS UNIT IS THAT IT DOES NOT COME WITH AN OWNERS MANUAL. THE START UP GUIDE LEAVES A LOT TO BE DESIRED. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Digital photo show Sunday, January 04, 2009 A Customer from Miramar, Florida
I'm pleased with my new photo frame. I can sit and watch the photos over and over. I can see it from any distance in the room. I'm not too pleased with the fact that the photos don't fit in the frame. I'll have to manipulate the photos to use the entire frame. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 HannSpree sd7021 Sunday, January 04, 2009 Joseph from Huntingdon Valley, PA
Quite frankly, I am pleasantly surprised. The images are sharp, clear, well color balanced. You need a M to M USB to load pics into the onboard memory. Takes a minute to figure out the controls, but overall, sitting on my kitchen counter, we are really pleased. Those little critters are cute to die for!
Buy. Com did a great job getting it to us. Merry Christmas. Buy.Com this photo frame! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 sleek product Friday, January 02, 2009 A Customer from Minneapolis, MN
Got this product as a Christmas present for my father. It looks very sleek and professional. It also has multiple options and selections from a pane of buttons hidden below and behind the top bezel - keeping it professional. He uses it on his desk at work and loves it. What I like most is how the black bezel is not as thick as it is on some other brands. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 SD7021 works well for the price Thursday, January 01, 2009 Rob from Chicagoland, IL
This 7" SD7021 (some reviews seem to be categorized into a range of models) has a decent screen and is easy to use when things work well. I was initially frustrated because it didn't recognize the standard *.jpg files my graphics program produced. When I realized I could resave the files to the final directory with the Mac Preview program (standard in Mac OS Leopard), and it would recognize those files, life became much better. The manual is short, and there's no additional information online that I could find, so I had to experiment to find this out.
Supposedly it's 480x234 (2.05:1) like most other frames in this price range, but it's also listed as 16x9 (1.78:1) and one place in documentation mentions 720x408 pixels (1.78:1). Resizing images to this size left no black bars, so it's not really 480x234 (which left black bars on top and bottom). I'm not sure how many pixels it really has, but 1.78:1 is better than 2.05:1. You have to look close to see pixels, but a videophile will appreciate something more expensive.
Some people want random slideshow order, it's not here, but I'm okay with a fixed sequence. Random transitions are available, you can set the length of time each picture is displayed. USB memory stick and SD memory cards worked fine. USB stick is visible out the side, avoid bright colors or lights on the end. The clock/calendar apparently loses its setting every time it's turned off, that's of very limited use, IMO. Was this review helpful?

3 of 5 Eh.... Thursday, December 25, 2008 Mateo from Tulsa, ok
Good price, but the pixels are the size of Lego blocks (To quote House). From a distance it looks okay, but up close it's bad. Autorotate is nice though. Was this review helpful?
