Marvel and Bungie team up to create this graphic novel based on the bestselling video game. The Halo universe comes to life for the first time in four original stories and art by such elite artists including Rick Berry, Geof Darrow, Scott Fischer, Sterling Hundley, and Craig Mullins.

From the Publisher:
Bungie Studios, part of Microsoft Game Studios, has joined forces with Marvel Comics to release a highly-anticipated graphic novel inspired by one of the most popular franchises in the history of the video game industry.

The Halo Graphic Novel (HGN) brings the Halo universe to life for the first time in the sequential art medium. The HGN is a 128-page, full color, high quality, jacketed, hardcover graphic novel. It features an anthology of original stories, including one lengthy story, and three shorter tales.

About the Author:
Lee Hammock is a junior English major at the University of Georgia. He is the designer of the Haven science fiction live roleplaying game, and has been active in the Atlanta live roleplaying scene for many years. His most recent credits include work on Forbidden Lore for Holistic Design's Fading Suns line.

Co-written by Jay Faerber, Tsutomo Nihei and Brett Lewis.

Annotation:
These four beautifully illustrated and finely crafted stories all take place in the science-fiction world based on the massively popular Halo videogame series.

Praise
"The book's artwork is skillful and unusual (including a story by Tsutomu Nihei and a gallery by an all-star lineup of artists in the back) and the writing brings the Halo universe and its central tenets to life." 07/31/2006
