Although no drivers are required (Win XP), the accompanying software is great for adjusting to lighting conditions and tracing my head movement. The frame rate, although advertised at 30 fps, is less, but that's probably a result of other apps running on my PC.
I wish it had come with some velcro for attaching to the top of my CRT monitor, but very few people have CRT (except those with astigmatism), so that's nit-picking.
Shipping was very quick, the price was right, and the performance is acceptable. Was this review helpful?

Once in a while you get more than you pay for. This cam works as well as cams in the 50-75 dollar range. Why pay more? Caution: this cam does use a bit of memory(any good one will). But, if you have over 1gig of memory you should have no problems. Could not find a lower price anywhere. Must focus by hand first use. Use the installed software for travelling zoom to keep your face in the center of the screen. Free shipping made this purchase a no brainer. Received in two days! Was this review helpful?

The picture quality is good, but when I use it, it degrades the sound quality and the person on the other end says that the picture is pixelated. I questioned my broadband connection, but don't seem to have the problem when I use the webcam built into my laptop. I will try it some more to see if I get better performance with different settings. If I can't get it to work better, I'm sending it back. Was this review helpful?

Installation is straightforward with the included CD. Clip works fine with three different LCD monitors. Very good video quality even under low light. Haven't tried the photo/snap shot function. Not the smallest cam but I use it with my desktop. Highly recommended. People may think differently if used as portable cam for laptop. Was this review helpful?

Everything is as advertised. Works out of the box. No drivers needed (for vista). For such price it is a very good deal.
Weaknesses:
The clip to mount webcam on a laptop is pitiful. If you laugh with the laptop on your lap, the webcam will fall.
No auto-focus, have to do it manually
