...The script for Grosse Pointe Blank is laced with acid wit. Its cynical observations about big business, as embodied by the formation of a "hit men's union", are deliciously on-target. The quirky dialogue is often clever, and the film as a whole contains its share of darkly funny moments. THis is my favorite movie of all time, its funny as all heck, the cusacks both do excellently here: john, the dark, brodding, but romantic hitman with a wit to match his guns, and the, umm, different secretary played by his sister joan. dan akroyd comes Was this review helpful?
