I got this because my 4G iPod's battery has gotten pretty flaky. It's easy to use and I like that it doesn't need its own charge so it's always ready, assuming you have a fresh 9 volt battery in the device. Nice and small though it would be nice if it didn't have the dangling cord, which make it a bit unwieldy.
