And then the novelty wears off. Yes, it's really oOoOoOo cool until the easily scratched case betrays its metallic disguise. The buttons on the E200 are so far recessed already that accessing them through the port hole is kind of a pain if you have medium to large sized digits. Also, battery life tends to suffer due to the need for increased screen brightness, as the mirrored plastic case filters out about 20% of the light that would normally come through. Great idea, looks great, but poor execution. The bulk it adds to the E200 is PAINFUL. GRIFFIN! HOW ABOUT MAKING OEM OR KNOCKOFF FACEPLATE REPLACEMENTS?!? Oh yeah, to SanDisk: Make replacement parts available. I am NOT buying a whole new MP3 player just because the screen window is fogged and scratched. It's a crappy business model. Would you buy a car if no replacement parts were made available? I didn't think so. You'd make more money selling faceplates to the people who've already bought your product than you will just selling complete MP3 players, because the majority of us are convinced that your interest in a customer vanishes as soon as you make one sale. Take care of the people who've been loyal and we'll take care of you!
