It's about 15' from my laptop to my stereo in my living room and this device is sending clear stereo signals. Don't bother using the CD they ship, download the latest drivers from Griffin's web site. This is a great tool for listening to online radio or just hearing the audio from a YouTube video. I'm very pleased.

Well, I got exactly what I had expected. It sure does look sleek, and the software is very easy to use, but there aren't ANY features. There's only a Stereo/Mono switch and a tuner, not a lot of options. The transmitter is powerfull enough to put out a Mono signal for about 10 feet. My Rocket is hooked up to my computer upstairs and sits almost right above my RCA surround sound receiver downstairs (a powerful recivier at that) and I have to practically wrap my antenna wire around the transmitter and I can't use the stereo sound because there is too much extra noise. I have seen other transmitters for less, and for more. Basically you get what you pay for and I got what I expected. This is a good 5-10 foot transmitter w/ a very short USB cable. Don't by it if you want house-wide coverage. This is just the little Rocket.
