I bought one of these from a different company and paid $90 for it. I liked it so much I went to get another one for a gift and was glad to find it for so much cheaper. I have had ZERO issues with mine and it has always worked very well. I did notice that when driving through highly populated areas (ie Chicago) it is sometimes difficult to find an open radio station, but the scan feature makes it super easy to find the best option. Most people are very impressed at the sound quality when they ride with me. Would definitely recommend. Was this review helpful?

The smartscan feature makes this FM transmitter very easy to use as you don't have to hunt for the best station -- it does it for you. Unfortunately, with the default settings, it will not scan down in the high 80s where there are very few competing stations. Nonetheless, I have had good success with it driving in the greater Philadelphia area.
Also, though the pedicle is fairly stiff, it will move around as you try to control the iPod/iPhone. It does slip a little bit in the lighter socket, and does not stay perfectly firmly seated.
That said, for the money and ease of use, I have no regrets and would recommend it to anyone. Was this review helpful?
