I just got it for my gf's car because she has no MP3 CD changer and I wanted her to be able to hook up her iPod nano.
It works really well, it has a cigarette lighter adapter with an extension stick so you can position it and swivel the unit at almost any angle.
It was real useful in her 2006 Altima, because the cig lighter plug was angled down.
It turns on in about 2 seconds after you press the exclamation mark.
It works really well at overriding local radio station frequency of your choice.

i needed an ipod adapter and all of the ones out there are so expensive, and the affordable ones are terribly. so i took a chance on this one because it looked kind of cool with the dock and everything and i cannot be more pleased. it works just as well...maybe better than those $80 monster ones, and it charges your ipod. it comes with all the fittings for every ipod shape and size. i absolutely love it and recommend it to everyone. I enjoy being able to have my iPod in my car, but I am not to impressed with the sound quality. I have to turn my radiovolume higher then I normally would have too. It may be my iPod but, I am not to savy on how to use it. Was this review helpful?

Great Product, Good Reception, Good value for money. Only exception being Ipod Cradle which fits the IPOD, is a bit clumsy. Overall I recommend this product over other IPOD FM transmitters. Was this review helpful?

I bought this with a lot of skepticism. But this thing works really well in the DC area. I've also taken it to Philly and it actually overrides established stations. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who has the newer IPOD versions. I have the 5th generation 30 Gig IPOD video and it works great. Was this review helpful?

very good reception on almost all stations,very fast delivery from buy.com,
I bought a similar one last month(CTA) that died out after three weeks,it was not as sturdy as this griffin ,the only set back on this one is having to reset it after shuting off my truck and starting back up Was this review helpful?
