| | | Welcome to the evolution of home audio. The Evolve speaker system comprises a charging base and two cube-shaped speakers. Talk about stereo separation - simply place the Evolve cubes wherever you want to hear the music. You can even move them into the next room with you. There are no entangling wires to hassle with. Each speaker cube has its own long-lived Lithium-Ion battery pack, delivering up to 10 hours of music between charges. Evolve even charges wirelessly: to charge the batteries, just place the speaker on its charging station. There is nothing to plug in, and nothing to unplug when you're ready to deploy the music. Each speaker features its own on/off switch, and an automatic sleep mode to conserve battery charge.

I first stumbled on the this wireless sound system when on vacation and staying right on the beach. My friend hosting me had the evolve system and I had brought my new I-touch along mainly for air travel. However, when I used the evolve system for the first time I was truly blown away. I would take the speakers down to the beach with me and even with the wind and the waves, the sound volume and quality was amazing from the little cubes. Plus, the dock kept the I-touch charged all the while. So far, between the sleek design of the system, the sound quality and the charge life of the wireless speakers, I highly recommend it. In fact, as soon as I got home, I purchased the system here at a good price. Was this review helpful?

I am very pleased with my speakers. I use them in conjunction with an apple airport express and now have completely wireless music from my computer to my speakers. The sound is on par with my old Bose Sounddock, and sounds even better when the speakers are separated. I gave it a 4 for value and performance because, even for the excellent price I got on buy.com, the sound could even be a bit better. Also occasionally and only for a few seconds the sound can cut out to one of the speakers. This does not happen enough to be a distraction. I was an early bluetooth adopter and can say that this is the first bluetooth product I've owned that has lived up to the promise of the technology. Was this review helpful?

This Wireless Sound System works great! I was able to listen to music wirelessly all over my house. I was also able to change songs with the remote even though I was in another room. This is awesome. Was this review helpful?
