| | | Caution: This film contains images and themes such as scantily clad babes, karate-chopping chimps, grandmas getting' it on, deep bong hits, sweet car beds and a lot of dorks playing video games. If any of these things aroused your interest, you are truly sick. Enjoy the movie. Features: DVD, Pan and Scan (TV Format), Aspect Ratio 1.33:1, Widescreen, Aspect Ratio 2.35:1, English, Spanish, Subtitled From Adam Sandler's Happy Madison Productions comes a raucously funny, "fish-out-of bongwater comedy" (Playboy) that'll have you rolling with laughter! Life is sweet for 35-year-old video game tester Alex (Allen Covert), until he's forced to move in with his overbearing grandmother Lilly (Doris Roberts) and her two roommates: oversexed Grace (Shirley Jones) and overmedicated Bea (Shirley Knight). To save face with his much younger co-workers and super-sexy new boss (Linda Cardellini), Alex brags about the "three hot babes" living with him, but soon that cat's out of the bag and the real party at Grandma's house has just begun! If you love footie pajamas, techno-talk and karate-chopping chimps (and who doesn't?), grab your buds and watch Grandma's Boy! "...hard to entirely dislike." | | Professional Reviews | LA Weekly 7 of 10 Sandler crony Allen Covert, the star, producer and co-writer of this stunted-adolescence classic, hilariously explores a previously untapped nexus of stoner humor, joystick geekdom, elderly women and a martial arts-taught chimp. - Robert Abele Los Angeles Times 6 of 10 It's as aimless and pointless as a joke told while stoned. There are some pretty decent shock-laughs, often provided by Jones, who hasn't ever been this nasty. - Roger Moore

This movies is the greatest thing Ive seen since Jay and Silent Bob Strike. Its got everything a good movie needs drama, a couple of stoners, and a good theme. This is one great movie. Its fantastic. Its just all around hilarious. Peter Dante is so awesome. He was great in the movie as well. The whole Madison Team was just hard core. Great movie, Adam and Peter really had there work cut out for them this was overall on a scale of 1 to 10 for a rating it gets a 9 all the actors were brilliant. This is an especially funny movie if youre a stoner cause than you have a glimpse of what your future beholds. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Whoa Tuesday, July 04, 2006 A Viewer from Providence, RI
This has quickly become my all-time favorite movie. I went to see this twice in theatres, and I purchased the DVD as soon as it was available. I just cannot believe how incredibly hilarious this movie is, I'm incapable of putting it into words. My friends and I have a running count of watching this 13 days in a row, sometimes more than once in a day. This movie makes your high infinitely better, if that's even possible.
