By Noisy I mean it sounds like its gurgling. The lady who said it was quiet must have gotten a good one because mine is NOISY. There is NO place for the condensation to drain. It sounds like the unit is processing through the excess water in the frame because there is NOOOOOOO place for the water to drain out and if I could find where to write someone who would actually DO something I would. I also have a larger LG air conditioner with the same situation. They don't have anywhere for the water to drain out easily so it sets in the bottom og the unit

This air conditioner is a great buy! I wanted the air to come out from the top portion so that it would not blast the air in our faces while we sat in the living room and it does the job. Very quiet, cools so quickly it is amazing. The only thing i would say is that in my case this item would have been perfect if it had a remote control-not because im lazy, simply because it is hard to reach due to the way my couches are set up (L shaped sofas placed in the corner) Overall--i love this air conditioner.
