hi, I bought one of these 12/06, and in 8/07 it failed to light the lcd--so SOYO had me send it back at my shipping cost $89, then did not fix my TV but sent me another one (no doubt someone else's TV that had been "fixed"), I get this set 9/07 and by mid 2/08 it wont power up..I call SOYO and they say sorry out of 1 yr warranty...then I push and they decide lets send him another but this is no longer available so they are sending me a SOYO SYTPT3227AB 32", but first we have to argue ovdr me returning the 2nd defective unit--I do not feeel I should pay $89 again...

I just bought this HDTV about a week ago and totally love it! It is by far the best HDTV for the money or even better than most HDTVs that are $500+ more! I'v been checking out HDTVs for a few years now and went with this one because of the great price and reviews and I'm not sorry that I did. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a great HDTV without the huge price tag that comes along with most others. Also, I don't have HDTV cable yet, but regular cable and digital cable look great on it.

I can not review this product based on every day use, I only use it to watch movies. This was a great price for a 32", widescreen, HDTV. All others were priced at double what I purchased this unit for. The tv works fine and the quality is good. The speakers make a "white noise" that can be heard before putting in a DVD and the color needed to be adjusted, it was very orange and red. The clarity of the picture is also fine. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a deal and can handle a couple of minor imperfections.

The only thing I do not like about this TV is the power on process and that there is not a remote control code for universal remotes. The power on takes too long, 3-5 seconds and at times takes a couple attempts to get it turned on. The same problem exists if you attempt to turn it on with the remote or the manual power on button. The TV remote must be used because there is not a remote control code that can be entered on universal remotes to get it to work. Other than take I really enjoy the TV and the picture.

This is a very nice offer from Buy.com - others are charging a lot more for shipping. As far as the 30 second boot up delay - you can avoid this by making sure that your input source is turned on. i.e. if you're using a cable box make sure that it is on first before turning on GO.Video tv. There is a red light on the lower right corner of the TV make sure it brightens when you press the power button on the tv remote. This thing should be watched with HDTV - it's incredible. Only bad thing - speakers are not removable - making the TV look bulky. (it does have output for sound systems.)

I purchased this TV for my husband as a Christmas present. I couldn't believe how fast it was shipped (shipped the same day purchased)! This is a very sleek unit which looks great on a stand or on the wall. Picture quality is clear even on standard cable, as we have yet to upgrade to HD cable. I bought this as a back up tv to put my video game consoles on. I am running component cables for the PS2 and a Philipps DVD player and the picture is unreal. Just amazing. This TV is 100 times better than TVs $500 more than it. The sound from the two speakers is way better than I imagined. I was worried that GoVideo (Soyo) would not be that good but it beats all my expectations. Truly a great buy. Also tons of features and options.

I was in the market for a large monitor.I was lucky to get this tv/monitor for about $500+, a bargain . I knew I could not get the same performance as a $5000 unit, but at that price and specs, it was better than those I have seen in Walmart and other outlet stores. My unit works fine for me as a monitor as with a wireless keyboard I can do all my desktop work sitting or lying on the couch. For television purposes, it gives excellent pictures for either HD or video. The problems I have encountered were it takes about twenty-to-thirty seconds to start after pressing the start button (which is normal functioning) and the unit is not shipped with a double ended VGA cable to connect to the CPU, so you have to purchase it, separately.

I've have and continually will have a problem wrapping my head around the concept of spending two, three or four thousand dollars on a TV. It's a TV, it's not that serious. I've been waiting for the inevitable price drop to occur. When I saw the price being offered for a 32", it had my attention. But what ultimately reeled me in were the specs. The specs compare favorably with quite a few models of it's size that cost $300 - $750 more. I am quite pleased with it's performance. I have digital cable and the picture quality is very clear. The HD channels are unreal!! DVDs look great (glad I bought everything in widescreen format). I'm not a gamer, but I may become one now! It has every input your would need and nearly all the bells and whistles I wanted (if it was CableCard capable, it would be in a league of it's own). It looks great to boot. Set up was about 10 minutes. This TV is a fantastic value.

Best buy for the money. As good if not better than higher priced units. Ease of setup and connectivity could not have been easer. Excellent viewing of TV and DVD. All this and a direct connection to a PC, what more could you want.

Very happy with this TV. Has other features such as Optical output, Stereo output and an ethernet port for firmware upgrades (done only by Go Video services) Has great picture, The PIP has somewhat little functionality since their are only a few inputs that can be displayed at same time. (While watching cable, can only PIP HDMI) Works great as an extension of my computer monitor. xbox and xbox 360 look good on it.

I hooked it up to a directv HD and all of the HD programs look like you are watching a plasma. The only problem the directions dont give you much info. You have to figure out some of the things yourself. I would buy another one.

When I saw this set listed with free shipping, I tried to find one that I could see in person, but I couldn’t find any. I then realized that almost all of what I had looked at would have been a perfectly acceptable purchase, except that they were more expensive than this set. If the specs on this tv mean anything, I found them to be better than most of the sets on display with the exception of the really high end (price) units. After reading the first review, I decided to purchase the set. I think it is simply fantastic after viewing OTA HDTV. Please realize that I did not nor do I have anything to compare it against, but I would definitely buy it again.

WOW, this is the best value in town. I compared 5 other brands at $100 to $800 more and the spec's and picture quality on this unit is unbeatable. This unit compares with brands at almost twice the cost, like Sharp! I have had good luck with other SOYO products, but this is FANTASTIC !!! OH, and is the only LCD TV I found with Dolby.
