GN Netcom GN 6210 Bluetooth Office Headset - 6210-05

The headset was very easy to set up. I wasn't able to get it to work with my cell phone at first, but an email to Jabra, and a quick response later, it was working perfectly. (I did find the procedure in the directions later - should always read those first!). The sound quality is acceptable, but could be better. There is a little static, but everyone I asked said they could hear me just fine. Overall a very good product and a great value!

Was easy to setup. Earpiece is a little large but is comfortable to wear. Sound is good.

Unit set up quickly and without issue. Excellent volume, but there is hiss and some crackling in the earpiece. Can live with it but somewhat annoying. Hoped the sound quality would be better.

Works great with desktop phone and cell phone. The best feature is being able to switch back and forth between my desktop phone and bluetooth cell phone in seconds - at the flick of a switch. Volume is great and very little static noise. Price and shipping at buy.com was GREAT!!

I got the headset to use in my office with my Cisco IP Phone Model # 7960. The headset worked right out of the box. I was a bit worried about compatibility with the Cisco phone, but it came with the appropriate wires and works great. After charging it up for 2 hrs, it now works beautifully. Highly recommended, esp for the price. Directions and user manual are a bit light, but it is easy enough to set up on your own.

Caveat Emptor: Buyer Beware. I purchase the GN 6210 to use with my Bluetooth Blackberry 7100t. Much to my surprise it is not compatible. When I do a search to pair a device, it does not see/find it. I am now going to purchase a Bluetooth Adapter. The adapter that enables non-Bluetooth phones to use Bluetooth Techonology. Had I known this, I would have not purchased a new (Bluetooth) cell phone. I would have kept my old cell phone that was non-Bluetooth. Besides this, the GN 6210 is absolutely GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now you know!!!!!!

The Jabra charger is able to be clipped onto your belt. These headsets are the best.

I've been a headset user for 7 or 8 years. I compared this model to several others. Nothing I've used or shopped is close to this for the combination of performance and value. It is very comfortable on my ear for 7 or 8 hours a day, and doesn't make me look like a telemarketer (not that there's anything wrong w/ that profession). I had a little trouble getting it connected to my Nortel BCM phone, but called GN Netcom directly and the tech support rep hooked me up in under 5 minutes. Great company, great product. Highly recommended.

This is really the best headset unit I've ever used. I've been through about 4 different models in the past 5 years and this one outdoes them all. My previous units have cost between $200 and $400 and this one is half the price and twice the unit. Clear and crisp sound, easy to use, very comfortable. I also bought the adapter for my cell phone and that works great as well. It took about 5 minutes to set it up and have it working in my office. It took about another 5 minutes to get it linked with my cell phone, truly easy. Drawbacks - lack of range, this unit will only work within about 20-30 feet of the base although it’s been my experience with other units that once you get about 20-40 feet away they don’t work well either. Secondly, it does not come with the receiver lifter; you'll have to buy this separate if you really want ease of use although it's not necessary for general operation.
