5 of 5 Excellent bluetooth...buy this and ditch your earp Wednesday, November 11, 2009 A Customer from Syracuse NY
I love this little unit. I've had this for about TWO months and so far this is what I have learned.
1-After charging the unit maybe once (you need to charge it for a good 12-20 hours initially), I haven't had to charge it yet
2-While we're on charging and power...when NOT in use, the device conserves power while still powered "on" and Bluetooth ready. After a small time period of inactivity..I believe its in the arena of 45 minutes or so, it turns itself off if YOU forget! How convenient!
3-The product tells you with an audible voice when its "power off" or when you're "connected". Mine happens to use a neat British feamle voice (a friend received one from a different retailer and received an American female voice). Either way its friendly and helpful to hear what's happening since you can't (0r shouldn't) see it while driving!
4-This clips to your visor very easily and is perfectly positioned to hear your voice without having to maneuver very much. The receive ability is fantastic and very loud..far better than any speakerphone on any phone I've ever heard. This is actually better than most of the Bluettoth earpieces I've used even at full volume! I will say that there have been certain folks that had trouble hearing me but I belive that was based on the background noise on the highway and from my old car..lol.
5-I don't see any value in the FM transmitter frankly because honestly who wants to leave their radio onto a channel for their Bluetooth? For those of you with Xm or Sirius as I am, you especially understand this point. Ignore the FM capabilities in my opinion. The unit's own speakerphone is excellent and doesn;t need to tie in to your own car's speakersystem.
6-Very reasonably priced for the capabilities of this unit.
Just buy it and ditch your earpiece which is annoying and frankly not needed outside one's vehicle anyway!
HAPPY BUYING! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Superb Buy Monday, November 02, 2009 Travis from Bakersfield, Ca
I've gone through a couple of different bluetooth headsets over the past years... but this is by far the best hands-free device yet! I bought one for my wife about a year ago, and after seeing how much she loved it I had to have one. Fantastic quality sound on both ends, and extremely easy to use. Also, I have an iPhone and it does stream itunes, pandora, etc. An excellent purchase for anyone!!! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 For A bluetooth device really good Sunday, October 18, 2009 Scott from west bloomfield, mi
Pros:
Really easy to use and sync. I didn't have a problem re syncing to a different phone, it took like two seconds. It is also much louder then other speaker phones.
Cons:
If there is any cons I'd say that sometimes it has a little trouble with the voice activation part. You have to wait until it beeps twice and then sometimes it doesnt work. I am not sure if that is my phone or the device.
All in all if you are sick of paying for crap other bluetooth devices, this has been the best one I have used. Works just as I thought it would! Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great for the car Sunday, September 20, 2009 A Customer from Hamilton NJ
I just bought this because I was tired of the cheap bluetooth ear piece I had that kept falling out of my ear. I love it! Easy to use and sounds great. I have a little trouble from time to time getting my music to play from my blackberry, but I think that it is something I am doing wrong. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 works great Tuesday, September 01, 2009 A Customer from CS, Texas
Its clear. I can understand as well as be understood. I have even used it in the house. The one drawback is it can only be plugged into car charger and I pretty much have to keep it plugged in. Was this review helpful?
1 of 5 Not exactly what I expected Saturday, August 01, 2009 A Customer from Riverton, UT
I ordered this item and paid the full price of $39.99, instead of ordering it from one of the less expensive Marketplace vendors. I was disappointed when the package arrived in a thin bubble mailer. Both the Jabra SP700 and a Verizon Wireless Car Charger were stuffed inside a thin poly bag. I expected to receive the Jabra USB/Car Charger, since I purchased this item directly from Buy.com. The unit and the charger also bumped together during shipping, which left some scuffs and scratches on the unit. I decided to return everything, since it wasn't exactly what I expected. I rated the Performance and Ease of Use of this item as "Fives," since I didn't use it before returning it. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great speakerphone with some phones Tuesday, July 28, 2009 A Customer from El Cajon, CA
I had a lot of problems using the Jabra 700 speakerphone with my Sony-Ericsson Z525 phone. It dropped the Bluetooth conection everytime a call ended. I had to turn the phone off and back on again to get it to pair again. I recently upgraded phones to an LG Shine and this phone works perfectly with the Jabra. People complained about the sound quality until I moved it to the left side of the sun visor (closer to me). And putting the sun visor down to block the sun puts the speakerphone on the wrong side. The FM transmitter really helps hearing the call. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Perfect! Monday, June 15, 2009 Travis from Bakersfield, Ca
If you are only looking for a great way to use your cell phone while driving, this is the last piece of equipment you'll ever need. But this is way more! It's a way to stream music from your phone through the stero system... a hands-free voice dialer, and just over-all great purchase. I whole-heartedly recommend this product! Bought this for my wife and wish I found it before I bought a headset for myself. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Works great Tuesday, May 19, 2009 A Customer from Larkspur, CO
Sound quality is great over speaker. Was not maintaining connection, but problem went away after fully charging. Also make sure fully charged or plugged in for use with FM radio. Note that iPhone does not suppor protocol for playing music. This is rumored to be remedied with iPhone 3.0 software upgrade. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Wow what a great speaker Phone! Saturday, May 16, 2009 Rich from Port Jeff, NY
I have the Blackberry Curve and this this was a breeze to set up.
It is definitely loud enough, I often lower it during a call.
The callers don't know I am in a car and often ask me to look something up for them on my computer assuming I am in my office.
I bought the Poly bag version and it had everything I needed with out a box.
Appeared perfect and was fully charged out of the bag ready to go!
I have used other Jabra products in the past and was pleased with them, I am so glad I purchased this from Buy.com it arrived quickly with standard shipping. Was this review helpful?

1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 Great product Thursday, May 14, 2009 Ron from ATL, GA
This speakerphone paired quickly with my iPhone 3g and works great. The set up was almost nil and was very simple. It is very nice to have the capability of the FM transmitter. Granted as I drive closer to ATL, I have to find a new station, but over all a great feature. I have yet to get the RDS feature to work but then again I haven't had much time to "play" with it. The auto shut off feature is great for those of us with less than perfect memories as well!
I would highly recommend this product and am glad I purchased it. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Outstanding value, super performance Wednesday, May 13, 2009 Paul from Leesburg, VA
I bought two of these devices about a month ago and could not be more pleased. I got them in the poly bags with just the simple instruction foldout. Nonetheless I found them very easy to setup and very easy to use. The units paired with both phones quite readily, no issues at all.
I put one in my girlfriend's car, showed her how to use it and she's happy as can be with it. She's not a techy, but what can be simpler than press the button, wait for the light and presto, it tells you when it connects! My brother, who is fairly picky, says I come in very clearly on calls, so the sound quality and mic work perfectly well.
I have used the FM feature, the unit announces what frequency it is set to, and while it is easy to use and easy to change freqs when needed, I prefer using the built-in speaker just to avoid the FM interference issue. Because of the FM issue I don't use it to play my music from the phone, but I have tried it and it works as advertised. (If I put my hand on the unit FM reception is greatly improved, I'm a great antennae!) And if I was sitting still I could easily send the sound to the radio and listen happily.
Battery life has not been an issue yet either. Leave the car and forget to turn the unit off? No problem, after ten minutes of no connection to the phone it powers down. I want to permanently mount the unit and wire the power in full time, that's how much I like it. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 5 of 5 great speakerphone Wednesday, May 13, 2009 jim from new castle, DE
So far, this unit has been working perfectly. i was told i could be heard perfectly doing highway speeds with the window open even. i think that is impressive.the speaker is very loud and pretty clear as well. the auto shut off feature is very nice so i dont have to worry about remembering to shut it off(shuts off when you are out of range for a few minutes). i highly recommend that you do not buy this for the purpose of using the fm radio feature though. i tried it, and it wasnt any worse than a belkin dedicated fm transmitter that i bought and returned in the past. they both got pretty horrible and noisy reception. i have not had to recharge the battery yet, so it seems to have great life to it. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a speakerphone for the car, or anyone that is looking to ditch the bluetooth earpiece as i was(the speaker is much easier to hear than my earpiece) Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product Tuesday, May 12, 2009 A Customer from New Jersey
Great product and easy to use. Works well with my blackberry in the car and connects with ease. FM transmitter works very well but I don't use it often. Not sure what the poly-bag is though. I don't think that came with my delivery. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 long lasting battery Monday, May 11, 2009 Mihas' from new jersey
i like this small thing. it works good with my nokia n82. the only thing i can't really use is fm transmitter, it's to hard to find empty channel or even when u find one in few miles it's not empty. (new jersey) Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product Tuesday, May 05, 2009 Steve from Philadelphia, Pa
Great product. Works great with all the features of my phone, LG Voyager. Loud and clear on both ends, the FM feature is pretty much useless in or near a big city it seems, way too much noise at the lower FM band. That may be my radio though. Standard Dodge equipment. Beyond that minor inconvience, at least to me, this hands free set does everything they say it will, very satisfied. First time with Buy.com, placed the order on Saturday, arrived on Tuesday. I will deal with them again I'm sure. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Works great! Saturday, May 02, 2009 Robin from Seattle, Washington
I bot this to use on a regular basis so I could keep clipped to my visor (instead of pulling my Speaker/Garmen out of the glovebox every time). The JabraSP700 has great sound - almost too loud; very clear and the callers can hear me perfectly. About 1 minute to set it up initially and holds a charge for a very long time and charges quickly. Easy to turn on, off and connects quickly. I have a 3 year old Motorola Razr and had no problems connecting and staying connected. Since WA State just went handset free I have called all my friends to recommend this handset free device. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Nice handsfree unit Tuesday, April 28, 2009 A Customer from Colorado
Works great. I bought one to see if it would work with my wife's phone (Samsung Katalyst) and mine (HTC Dash). Linked up with both of them without any issue. Call quality is really quite good, even in my noisy truck. I can hear people fine, and they can hear me. Have to turn it down in quiet cars. Bought a second one for my truck (first one was for my wife, who hates the in-ear headsets, and we both refuse to run around with those bluetooth headsets in our ears).
The software upgrade from Jabra works on some computers, and on some it does not. Used a Dell laptop, and it worked fine. Don't know if you need it or not, but I applied it to both units.
Really nice unit - would recommend to anyone needing a hands free speakerphone. Cheapest (and easiest) way I have found to get bluetooth in the car.
Buy.com's site was painless to use, and had it pretty quickly. Will use them again as well for other products. Was this review helpful?
1 of 1 customers found this review helpful. 4 of 5 Great Product, but test first. Thursday, April 23, 2009 Matt from NC
Purchased one of these and it immediately paired with my phone (HTC Fuze) and established an A2DP (Stereo Bluetooth) connection. I turned on the FM and immediately I could pipe music, GPS instructions, and calls through my car stereo and the audio quality was better than expected.
The problems started the second time I tried to use it with the two devices properly pairing and the Fuze indicating that it had established the proper connections with the SP700, but the audio did not switch to the SP700. The problem seems to be with the Fuze and can only be corrected by repairing the devices.
Contacted HTC support and simply got a canned response about not supporting all Bluetooth devices. Really lowered my opinion with HTC, whom I have used for my last 3 phones.
So, if the device works all the time with you phone, it is definitely worth the money and works great. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Jabra SP 700 is sensitive Tuesday, April 14, 2009 Rick from Poulsbo, Washington
First off, I love the sound quality and ease of use but I was at the store when I first got the unit and was about 50 feet away from it and I got a call but couldn't get it without turning the Blue Tooth option off. Sensitivity seems to about 70' or so depending on whether you are inside or outside. Overall good unit and I saved approximately $25.00 purchasing through Buy.Com Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Love it. Sunday, April 12, 2009 Texasgal from Paris, Texas
My brother had one which his wife took away for herself. I bought one for my husband and got one for myself. Very easy to set up and use. Wish it did come with better instructions for those of us on dial-up so we could see if there are other things it can do. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Good but not without some issues Friday, April 10, 2009 Michael from CT
Good:
Loud (except the "Power On" and "Power Off" voice.
Good Value.
Easily pairs and reconnects when back in range.
Slim.
Good reception.
Not so good:
RDS does not work as described or at all.
Terrible customer support.
Buy.com (or whoever) does a lousy job with the bulk packaging. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 easy to use Thursday, April 09, 2009 Funkydrummer from Madison, WI
Pros Easy to set up and use. Clear voice calling. Fits nice on visor. Paired easily with motorola razor
Cons no charger for home only car. Voice dialing does not always work.
Very happy with the purchase and will recommend this product to my friends. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 works as advertised Sunday, April 05, 2009 A Customer from Brandon, MS
I had bought a hands free motorola device that never paired with my phone so I was pleasantly surprised at how easily this one paired and operated. It's somewhat difficult to adjust the volume in the middle of a call but otherwise works perfectly. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great Product! Monday, March 30, 2009 Kelly from Cincinnati, OH
I absolutely love this bluetooth speakerphone! It works just as promised, and for the price, its a steal. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Awesome product! Monday, March 23, 2009 Alan from Dodgeville, WI
Sound is quite loud, even with window open a bit on the highway. FM transmitter is just what I was looking for. I use it in my old truck that doesn't have a radio, to listen to podcasts from my Blackberry. When I'm in my car, I can get the podcasts on the stereo! And if I happen to actually get a call, it works great for that, too. :)
Extremely simple to use, but beware the instructions for pairing with a cell phone were wrong: It's not automatic -- you have to hold the answer/power button on for at least 7 seconds!

5 of 5 Better than BlueAnt Sunday, March 22, 2009 A Customer from Seattle, WA
I've been using the first generation BlueAnt speakerphone, and thought it was the best of all that I tried. It has some advantages over the SP700 (boots up faster, the power button is the microphone stalk that you just push out rather than having to hold down the talk button on the 700 until it connects, etc).
But the big advantage of the SP700 over the blueant is the noise cancellation. i have both of them on my visor and placed calls to a friend while driving 65mph on the freeway. first the SP700 and asked how I sound, and how much background noise entered the conversation. i hung up, turned it off, and turned on the Blueant and made the same call. I was told that there was no comparison, all they could hear with the blueant was a constant hiss (though my voice was ok). The SP700 was 10 times quieter (this was in a 530i), and if you have a noisy car then it would be even worse.
Personally I like the sound of the speaker on the Blueant just a little better (less tinny), but overall the SP700 is now all I use.
good stuff Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good stuff Wednesday, March 18, 2009 Bob from Cary, NC
This device works really well. Much better than using the handset speakerphone. Have not tried the the FM part, but am very happy with this as a basic speakerphone. I have 3 of these, all three work flawlessly. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Great for $43 Monday, March 16, 2009 Sean from Elgin, TX
Works well for the most part, maybe a little too well in some areas: this thing is a voice cannon and it won't let me adjust the volume to a low enough level. The FM feature doesn't work but I wasn't going to use it anyway. Good value. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Good deal Monday, March 16, 2009 TJ from Memphis, TN
If you're in the market for an affordable hands-free unit in your vehicle that is worth more than the price, this is it - extras included. Radio tuning is great and listening to the music from your cell phone over the Jabra is nice. Voice prompts are clear. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 very good Monday, March 16, 2009 Commuter from Rhode Island
pairs easily, sound level is excellent, announces phone number of incoming call, but not phone book name. Since most people don't know the numbers of callers in their phone books, this feature is only somewhat helpful. FM feature was not very useful. very staticky, not as clear as the speaker itself, but I probably wouldn't have used that feature much anyway. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 It really works! Monday, March 16, 2009 A Customer from Beaver PA
I was sceptical of how well this unit would work but have been pleasantly surprised. It performs well and is easly connected to the phone. The FM works great as long as you can find a blank in the local spectrum. It gets a little flakey when a local station bleeds in on the ride. Its easiy changed though to find a new station.
I really like the fact that the volume is loud enough to hear. Some of the in/over ear devices were so quiet that I couldn't hear well. This is loud and clear without running through the stereo, and is even better when you do. It came with teh default UK english voice (has a bunch of options). We have named her Lola.
Overall, how can you beat a speakerphone for less than $50. I have recomended this to my friends and family. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great!! Monday, March 16, 2009 A Customer from chicago, il
Found this on special at buy.com and decided to give it a go. Easily pairs with my Iphone 3G and works flawlessly. I would definitely buy it again Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Better than a headset Sunday, March 15, 2009 Todd from Bardstown, KY
I have gone through trying 3 different bluetooth headsets (in car) but I like this best. Two I had trouble hearing them and an in-ear one I could hear good but they always had background noise. Everyone says the Jabra sounds like I'm not using bluetooth at all, even on the highway. Now that I can play the output through my radio, I can hear great too! Leaving it on speakerphone is just too loud near my head even though I have the volume all the way down. It's a great unit and I've been telling everyone about it. Pairs quickly and the voice confirmations are an interesting touch -- and better to keep your eyes on the road.
The Poly-Bag version comes with a mini-guide but I printed the full manual off their website. Was this review helpful?

5 of 5 Great Product but not very compatible with iPhone Sunday, March 15, 2009 worldbfree from Houston,TX
The product works as advertised. The speaker phone has great clarity and range. Sleek and aesthetic design makes for a welcome accessory in the car. Easy to program and user friendly. Unfortunately, many of the neat functions do not work with the iPhone because of the lack of bluetooth compatibility. I would recommend this product but for those who own an iPhone be warned, you will not be able to use the music sync function with your car stereo. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Excellent Product Sunday, March 15, 2009 A Customer from Boca Raton, FL
I like this unit. It is much better than other speakerphones I have used. Sound is excellent on my end, good on the other end (but could be clearer). It is very easy to use and I really like the spring clip that clips it to the sun visor. It holds securely yet easy on/off without marking the sun visor covering. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Great product and ease of use Sunday, March 15, 2009 Amos from NASHUA, NH
This is great product for the price. Great call quality and ease of use. Except the visor clip is not strong enough but so far no issue. Haven't tried it through FM yet. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 Nice and loud, FM transmission so so Sunday, March 15, 2009 Ernie from Elkhart
I owned a SP5050 prior to this purchase and it was, OK. I bought this one thinking that the FM transmission would be a plus...since typically I turn my music off anyway while on the phone. Well...needless to say I am pretty disappointed in the sound quality through the FM channel. Otherwise...it is a good unit. Was this review helpful?
4 of 5 worth the investment Saturday, March 14, 2009 A Customer from Cincinnati, OH
I'm using the Jabra SP700 with my Blackberry and it works OK. I was able to get the speaker phone setup correctly, but I had to utilize the web site to complete the configuration. The web site is actually pretty good.
I don't like the fact that the FM transmitor shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity and the buttons take a while to get used to, but all-in-all the quality of the calls are better than some headsets and the speaker phone is relatively easy to use - once you get used to the buttons. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 The Jabra SP700 works as advertised Saturday, March 14, 2009 Greg Cheney from N. Richland Hills TX
We bought two of these and they work very well. When talking to someone who is using one, it sounds as good as if they were not "hands free". Was this review helpful?
