Editor's Note
From writer/director Yashuhiro Imagawa, the anime series GIANT ROBO is set in a world in which a new energy source has been created, completely replacing all other earth power sources. But with constant interference by a shadow organization bent on seizing control of the world, and the looming detonation of the Big Balloon (an energy-absorbing, earth-destroying weapon), peace doesn't stand a chance. Working for the Experts of Justice, young Daisaku Kusama, Gynrei, and the Giant Robo must attempt to prevent the Eternal Night.
