5 of 5 Great game for busy dads Monday, April 21, 2008 A Gamer from Dallas, Texas
I like shooters, but I'm a busy husband and dad with no time to really get into a game. Ghost Squad is great because I can turn on the Wii, slap the game in, and start shooting bad guys without having to worry about learning/remembering a bunch of proprietary rules, moves, etc. This is the same game I enjoy in the arcade area at the local kids' birthday party mecca while waiting for the endless weekend b-day parties to end -- except now I can "continue" without having to add more credits to a game card... I play Ghost Squad with the Wii Zapper on "Nun-chuck mode (controller config option 3)" which allows me to use the Z button on the Nun-chuck as my trigger. To summarize: if you're a big-time gamer geek, you'll get bored with this one. But if you want to use a little dad time to blow some stuff up when the kids aren't hogging the Wii, then this game fits the bill. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Good game for multi-player action Friday, January 18, 2008 Bridgett from Texas
Great game - this is the closest thing to the arcade versions of shooting games you'll get. It's best if you have a larger screen TV, though, as it can get a bit cluttered when playing with the multi-player modes. (multiple "sights" for each person's gun.) Also, the instruction sections are hard to read with standard TV sizes when you're far enough away to play comfortably. Was this review helpful?
