You won't find a better deal than this one on drawing tablets. The cursor tracks very smooth, the pen and mouse work equally great. If there were one thing I could gripe about it would be that the mouse goes to sleep relatively quickly. You have to click it to wake it up which sometimes causes unwanted marks on artwork. However, I'm sure that's to conserve the battery which has lasted over 6 months now.

I am a digitizer veteran of many years. Granted, having used a Wacom 12x12 means I've only needed the one. Still, the portability of this unit is perfect for laptop users and at this price... you can't go wrong. This is the first product I've used by Genius and I am impressed. A must for graphic designers or anyone who prefers a mouse to the touchpad when travelling with your laptop.

I ordered the Genius G-Pen 4500 Graphics Tablet and it arrived on my doorstep in 2 days! This is an amazing tool for designers and developers or anyone. The pen tool is so multi-functional and acurate I use it now instead of my regular mouse. Thanks for this item and its low cost! Highly recomended!

I got this tablet as a present for my wife, who is a professional artist. Took a little while to setup and configure, as the documentation is rather scarce. For instance, it's not clear which utilities are compatible with Vista until after you install them. Also, the mouse feels a bit like an afterthought. But everything works as advertised and I don't think we could have done better for the price.

This is THE tablet to buy if you want to try out and experiment with a low-cost tablet. I have never used one and bought this for my young daughters. The next step up is a hundred dollar Wacom Graphire4 4x5, double the cost. ------- Anyhow, the driver install was easy (XP), the pen movement is smooth and the mouse is acceptable and works properly. My only gripe is that the mouse loses its connection to the tablet when it is lifted off the tablet - it must be "reconnected" by returning it to the tablet and clicking the left-mouse button once. Of course, this will draw a dot in any graphics program such as Paint and Photoshop Elements. A quick Control-Z in the app will undo the dot, but this is just mildly annoying. ------- If you have been waiting to find a low cost tablet as I was, then this is perfect choice.
