1 of 5 Just pay shipping i will send to you FREE i have s Tuesday, May 27, 2008
A Customer from Fullerton, CA, 92832

I have brand new wireless KB & M combo sitting under my desk. Keyboard and mouse both are working but not the way user wants. I was so disappointed with this product. I have hardly used 4-5 days. I called Tech support atleast 5 times but i guess they are so busy on call because of bad product i could not reach them. Then i tried email that actually worked. They reply me after 1 month. But on that time i already bought my beautiful and working great Microsoft Wireless KB and M combo.

1 of 5 two keyboards - neither ever worked Monday, May 26, 2008
Sue from Hermosa Beach, CA
I ordered this hoping to get rid of a few wires around my computer. The mouse connected right away, but in spite of a couple hours of my effort, trying all the tricks in the little user's manual, as well as some free-lance experimenting of my own, I couldn't get the keyboard to connect. I called Gearhead support, and after an eternity on hold, I talked with a cranky guy who walked me through all the steps I had already tried, before allowing me to return the keyboard and transmitter unit for repair. (I had to pay the shipping myself - which seemed a bit much on top of everything else, given that it was their product that was defective right out of the box.) I DID get my return keyboard and transmitter fairly promptly, but it STILL won't connect. I have given up, and am writing this one off as a loss. I didn't pay enough to call and hassle with trying to get a refund, but I definitely won't ever buy anything from Gearhead again!

2 of 5 Cheap product Friday, February 08, 2008
Techguy from Dallas, TX
I bought this product as I wanted to wireless keyboard. But did not expect the item to be so cheap quality. The box and the picture and description on the box looks very good, but not what is inside. Product has very short range. Changing battery is a pain. The so called hand rest which is nothing but a piece of plastic broke very first day. So be aware.

1 of 5 Not worth the money Friday, December 28, 2007
A Customer from Princeton, NJ
The keyboard is cheap. What you type does not always show up on the screen. Go ahead and spend a few more dollars and get a better keyboard.

1 of 5 Don't buy it!!! Thursday, December 27, 2007
A Customer from Mundelein, IL
This product comes with some generic AAA batteries that doesn't hold a charge at all. It has a really cheap look and feel. You get what you paid for.

1 of 5 horrible range Friday, December 21, 2007
A Customer from St. Charles MO
I bought this wireless keyboard and mouse set when i got my HD TV so could use my computer from the couch. my couch is about 12 ft away from the wireless receiver and it won't pick it up. I have to get within 4 feet for it to work. If you need range, do not buy this.

3 of 5 Not Bad For the Price Friday, December 21, 2007
Bigbear from Boston, MA
The product comes with 6 AAA NiMh batteries. Two for the keyboard which seems to work well. 2 for the mouse which goes thru them like Grant thru Richmond. last about a week if you're lucky. The extra two are stored in the USB transmitter and are supposed to charge but it doesn't work so you need to be sure you have an appropriate battery charger ready. You can store the extras in the transmitter. The keyboard operation feel is decent considering the price and installed easily. The mouse was extremely difficult to install but was OK once connected. It 'sleeps' every so often if not used for a while and you have to click it to bring it back to life but no big deal there. Except for the short mouse battery life I'm reasonably pleased. Function keys work well. Have this in service for about a month.

1 of 5 Absolutely Useless Product Thursday, December 20, 2007
A Customer from Odessa, TX
Even after rebate, which I haven't received yet, this combo isn't worth it. The mouse evidently goes into a sleep mode after a couple of minutes of inactivity, at which point you have to wake it up. This wake up process causes other problems. The batteries last only about a week. Wish it wouldn't be such a hassle to return it for a refund. Run, don't walk, away from this product!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

1 of 5 Stay Away! Wednesday, December 19, 2007
Askgenie from NJ
Awful Awful Awful. I didn't scale the product as 0 because i didn't have the option. Pieces broke off the keyboard while unpacking it. You have to pound the keys to get them to respond and the mouse movement is often delayed. They say you get what you pay for, but in this case you don't even get that!

1 of 5 Gear Head Wireless Keyboard and Optical Mouse - KB Monday, December 17, 2007
rmurg from Anaheim, CA
This product is horrible. The mouse intermittently communicates with the hub and creates sporadic performance. You can't have a mouse with sporadic performance. I returned the product twice and Buy.com will not allow you to return the product for a refund. Not only will I not buy a Gear Head product again, I am unlikely to buy at Buy.com again.

4 of 5 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse. Wednesday, December 05, 2007
chuydela from Zephyr Cove, NV
It was very easy to connect it to my PC. One cool thing is the wireless receiver is also for charging the 2 AAA batteries. The big ENTER key stucked some times. And the NiMH batteries does not last working, so I need to recharge every day. Thge rest is OK.

4 of 5 Works Just OK Tuesday, December 04, 2007
A Customer from Los Angeles, CA.
I bought this to replace a broken wireless keyboard. Replacing the wireless keyboard/mouse receiver on the computer was easy, but it will not work unless it is in direct line-of-sight to the keyboard and mouse. My old one worked fine with the receiver out of sight velcroed to the back of the system. On the plus side, this one comes with rechargable batteries for both keyboard and mouse with the charger built into the USB receiver enclosure. The product is just 'OK' as far as value and performance is concerned.

2 of 5 Cheap price, cheap product Saturday, December 01, 2007
Aaron G. from Tucson, AZ
I think the keyboard and mouse feel cheap, but especially the keyboard when I'm typing on it. It was a great price and it does work, but just feels cheap. Oh yeah, the rechargeable batteries have already gone out on both the mouse and keyboard more than once. You've always got an extra charged set, but they should last longer than a week.

4 of 5 Decent Wireless Combo Friday, November 30, 2007
A Customer from Baltimore, MD
Pro's: Cheap, comes WITH batteries, and an integrated receiver/battery charger, easy set up, devices go in and out of low-power mode quickly. Con's: keyboard keys are awkward to press sometimes (e.g. the shift key his held up by a single spring so if you hit it off-center, it tends to stick on the way down), the mouse seems to drain the batteries very quickly.

3 of 5 Not of great quality Friday, November 30, 2007
IT Guy from Dallas,TX
I bought this product before the thanksgiving with mail in rebate. Price looked attractive for a no name brand product. After receiving found that the product is very flimsy and cheap quality. It comes with only PS2 connectors (for mouse and keyboard) so no use on USB only machines. The so called wrist pad is nothing but a piece of plastic which broke very first day. The wireless sensitivity is about a foot or so. However, within that distance mouse works great. There are so many wireless models which work on different frequencies. So it helps to understand that aspect as well.

1 of 5 Piece of Dung, Dead on Arrival Friday, November 30, 2007
Scott Uhrick from Danbury, CT
Header says it all really. Lights flickered for a moment when plugged in, then quickly died. Even if it had worked, the keyboard feels cheap and the keys feel sticky. Avoid!

1 of 5 Gear Head Wireless Keyboard & Mouse Friday, November 30, 2007
A Customer from N Smithfield, RI
Don't bother to buy this product. The mouse worked for a week. The keyboard still works but it's not anything like a good keyboard should be. The keys are sort of sticky. The price was right but the quality was poor.

2 of 5 noisy keyboard and a mouse that sucks up all the b Thursday, November 29, 2007
ather from seattle, wa
the only good thing about this is that you can't get a wireless keyboard for a better price. otherwise, the keyboard is noisy and the keys stick. the mouse sucks up the battery power and i have to change it everyday. i've stopped using the mouse and only using the keyboard for now. also, the site doesn't mention that this is a PS2 mouse/keyboard.
