Just 18mm thick, the G2’s all-metal body makes it one of the slimmest and lightest cameras on the market. Eight-megapixel resolution, 4x optical zoom, 4.5x digital zoom, aspheric all-glass lens, 2.7” high-resolution, indoor/outdoor LCD screen make it hard to resist. But so do advanced features such as Smile Detection, Blink Detection, Face Detection and In-Camera Panorama Stitching. Rechargeable Lithium-ion battery.

2 of 5 Not worth it! Friday, July 03, 2009
Brian from High Point, NC

The autofocus (in any mode) is abysmally slow and inaccurate and the user can pretty much forget macro photography. There are too many other cameras in this feature-vs-price range that outshine this one. I am returning mine ASAP and buying a Nikon Coolpix S-210 for 20 bucks more.
