I got this laptop for my wife birthday.Good perfomance (not as my i7, three channel ddr3, WD volociraptor HD, PC desktop :-), but pretty good ), eligible for Windows 7 upgrade (after few contacts with Gateway support), also, up this time I didn't had problem with Buy.com e-mail support, shipping time .

This unit has everything built in except, as with most Acers, Blue Tooth. If you have Blue Tooth devices such as phone or GPS, you need to add a dongle. But let's talk about buy.com for a second: this is a huge "machine" that offers great prices. But because it is a huge corporation, there is no way to communicate with them. They will process your order, take your money with glee, but if you actually want to talk with someone there, forget it. I placed an overnight order for one of these machines, and the web page said 1 to 2 days processing. They shipped this thing three days later, and despite three unanswered emails and two unsuccessful attempts to contact someone by telephone, they went ahead and shipped it overnight. I had asked that it be shipped standard in all my messages because the need for quick shipping had passed because they dragged their posteriors getting it processed. I'm sure they won't actually post this feedback, because if you say anything negative about THEM they will delete it. Heck, they don't want you to know that they don't actually take care of their millions of customers at all. What would happen if you actually needed help and couldn't break through that huge brick wall? I haven't ordered from them since then and wouldn't. And because I own a computer store and have a substantial number of friends, none of my customers or friends will ever order from buy.com either. But, sadly, millions will and they will chug along blissfully pretending to offer customer support.
