Navigate With Ease

Talk about simple. The StreetPilot c330 and its counterpart, c340 with optional traffic alerts, come preprogrammed with detailed street maps. Whether you choose these preloaded navigators or the c320 or c310 with SD card, their intuitive touch screen operation and big displays make them easy to use.

StreetPilot c330 comes ready to go right out of the box with preloaded City Navigator® NT street maps, including a hefty points of interest (POIs) database with motels, restaurants, fuel, ATMs and more. Simply touch the sunlight-readable color screen to enter a destination, and the c330 takes you there with 2D or 3D maps and turn-by-turn voice directions. In addition, the c330 accepts custom points of interest (POIs) such as school zones and safety cameras and lets you set proximity alerts to warn you of upcoming POIs. Traveling abroad? The c330 comes with an SD card slot, making it convenient to add optional maps.

The portable c330 easily moves from vehicle to vehicle. Its suction cup windshield mount is a snap to install. The c330 also comes with a rechargeable lithium-ion battery for out-of-car route planning.

5 of 5 Garmin Refurbished GPS Monday, May 18, 2009
Paul A from Minnesota

The original GPS that was sent did not work. I asked for a replacement. The process was pretty easy. And, while the turn around was not nearly as fast as when I made the original order the replacement came as advertised and works just fine. Buy.com also handled all the shipping fees both for the original order, the return of the malfunctioning GPS, and shipping the replacement

5 of 5 Works well enough for the price. Monday, May 18, 2009
Jungle Boy from America's Finest City
This GPS will get you there. We found an issue with it before, where we got off the freeway in an area we weren't familiar with. The GPS kept sending us to non-existent on ramp(s) back onto the freeway. For the value, it's a great GPS.

4 of 5 Great GPS, but old Maps... Tuesday, February 10, 2009
A Customer from Hudson, Ohio
I have three of these Street Pilot C330s. They are very nice to use. Only disappointment I have is that the one I just purchased has two-year old maps on it. Normally, Garmin allows one free map upgrade once you receive the GPS. But, they do not allow this on the Street Pilot... go figure! But, I haven't had problems with map accuracy, so this is not big deal... buy this GPS (if you can find one). It is a great value!

5 of 5 Garmin StreetPilot C330-Refurbished. Monday, January 19, 2009
Tony from Daytona Beach, Florida
Bought this model for my wife last year and she absolutely loves it. She is Technically inept, so for her it works flawlessly. My unit shipped separately from my order and arrived 3-5 days later. This is the second unit we now own. Garmin makes an excellent product. Just wish that the installed maps were more current and up to date. Came complete in the box with all accessories just like brand new.

4 of 5 I love both of my C330 Steet Pilots, but... Wednesday, January 14, 2009
Joe P from Bolingbrook, IL
I love my Garmin GPS receivers. I have 2 Street Pilots, a 60CSx handheld, and an eTrex Legend C. I love them all. There was an issue with this last one, and I have returned it for a replacement. When the volume is on, the speaker in the unit hums. Enough to be a distraction. This was not the case with my first Garmin Street Pilot. For the money, it is a great deal, but the hum should not be there. Hopefully this is not the case with the next unit.

4 of 5 Small GPS, small price Wednesday, January 14, 2009
Perig from Mountain View, CA
Nice little GPS device and very good value for the price. I am always a little anxious when buying refurbished but it has been working fine so far. The GPS is working very well even though it is missing some roads or freeway entrances times to times but nothing critical.

4 of 5 Good value Sunday, January 11, 2009
Tim from Whitney, Texas
I've owned this unit for 1 year now..It still works as good now as first day we used it..Simple to operate..Battery w/full charge lasts about 2.5 hours..It still holds charge as good after a year..Only con is no SD slot..This just means that the internal memory is all you have..Over all satisfaction is a 4 because they (Garmin) gave me the upgrade on maps first time for half price because unit will not hold all maps info ( which is not a factor because I will never drive my car to Canada,Hawaii or Alaska)..I was told that would be the case when I went to upgrade again..Called recently and was told I had to pay full price no matter what..Also have found that my cell phone accessories for my motorola phone work with this unit..The charger and usb cable both interchange..What a plus that is to be able to use same cords for different items!!Otherwise the only way to charge unit was in the bracket or from computer..As always BUY.COM price, service and shipping are the best on the net I've found..Their free shipping is all I ever use and have never had to wait more than 5 days total!!

5 of 5 Happy to use Thursday, January 08, 2009
Xinlin Qian from Greenbelt MD
I buy this for my first GPS navigation device. I want to say it works well, intuitive interface, clear maps of United states and rich POI information, not mention its price $79.99 - $15 cash back, real bargain, I love it. some people mentioned the outdated map data, but I think in most circumstance there is not so many change of road, especially the main road like Interstate and national road, So to me, the map is not a problem and I should say that I can hack it to upload any kinds of maps I like to this unit.

5 of 5 Excellent GPS Can't beat the price!!! Thursday, January 08, 2009
John D. from Raleigh, NC
I treated myself to this GPS since the price was so low and I was truly impressed. My wife did not know I had bought it and she got me a Magellean. She paid alot more for the Magellean and I like the Garmin better. The Garmin looked completely brand new and the graphic display looked better than the more expensive Magellean. What I like most about the GPS is when you are driving, you can actually see curves in the road before you get to them. The Magellan had bluetooth, but I already use a headset so that is not much of a benifit although it worked great. I would recommend this GPS to anyone.

4 of 5 Cheapest GPS I could find. Wednesday, January 07, 2009
A Customer from Willamette Valley North
Provides most of the basic uses for a car GPS. I haven't used it that much yet, but it seems to do everything I could ask it to do. Fairly easy to use, just charge it up and it goes. Nothing too hard to understand so far.

5 of 5 Great GPS product for entry level user Tuesday, January 06, 2009
A Customer from Hopewell NY
Bought this GPS from Buy.com in December 2008 for backup (I have one OEM in my Acura). It works perfectly in rural area, never lost signal. However, it takes some time to locate the satellite in New York City, which I have heard of by reading couple of reviews before purchasing, especially when the car is stocked in the traffic. But when the car is moving in the metropolitan area, it can find the signal very easily. I am satisfied with the price/performance!

5 of 5 What else can you say? It's a Garmin! Sunday, January 04, 2009
Steve from New Jersey
Even though this C330 may not contain all the bells and whistles, it's perfect for helping you get to where you need to go when you're in unfamiliar territory. I've owned 3 Garmins and although no GPS is 100% perfect for all streets or all addresses, I've got zero complaints with mine. I don't need "spoken" street names when it simply tells me to "turn right" when I get to the street I need, that's simple enough for me. I don't need an MP3 player in my GPS, that's what my sound system is for! I also don't require bluetooth since I have a cell phone and bluetooth earpiece that takes care of that while I'm on the road or walking the mall. I also don't need the live traffic updates since a GPS device is no more up to date on where the traffic issues are than is the radio or even your eyesite. From speaking with others who have this feature, they all agree that they usually reach the bottleneck before their GPS alerts them of the issue. This is a feature that may be useful for long state to state trips spent mostly on the Interstate highways but I'm not convinced that it's worth the extra cost of the GPS unit or that you must pay a subscription fee for the service to be live anyway. So...if you are looking for a cheap, easy, effective and pretty darn accurate way of getting directions to or from points A and B, this unit won't disappoint. I find it is more accurate than MAPS.com, Google Maps or Mapquest and best of all, it's right there in the car with you and self corrects should you make a wrong turn! I love mine and highly recommend Garmin to my friends.

4 of 5 Easy to use. Sunday, January 04, 2009
Jon from Cleveland, OH
Easy to use, right out of the box. Can't beat the price. Manual is a little skimpy for a first time user though. I agree with other reviewers that acquiring satellite is a little slower than I would have liked. Received the wrong car charger for the unit in the box, had to order the correct one from eBay for $6.

4 of 5 Easy to use, outdated maps Sunday, January 04, 2009
A Customer from WI
The gps unit is very easy to use out of the box. It is very bright and vivid, easy to see. The screen is a bit compact, but for the price its a good deal. The only thing I was somewhat disappointed in was the fact that the maps are outdated. (which is to be expected on a 2 year old model) What I didnt realize however is that a current map update would cost $70. Partially my fault for not looking into that further, but it may have played a factor in my purchase of this model. On the positive side, most units will eventually have to have these map updates anyhow and again for the price its a good deal overall.

3 of 5 maps included incomplete, charge to renew map Sunday, January 04, 2009
Enrqiue from Fort Lauderdale, Florida
Equipment worked as expected. Prompt delivery, good condition. Made a trip to Tenesee, North and South Carolina. Several streets were not indicated in the GPS (Charlotte downtown and City Mountain, TN). Gramin charges of US$69 for Map updates, almost the price paid by the unit. Version 9 of MapStreet can't be loaded in the unit, I learned it may be possible with an external memory module). 330 model was discontinued. buy.com and Gramin should let the user's be aware about this factors.

5 of 5 Happy with the product - didn't know it had been d Saturday, January 03, 2009
Clay from Melbourne, FL
Bought the GPS as an extra gift for a directionally handicapped daughter. Price was good, product works OK. Map upgrade of $70 is high - I should have checked this better before I bought. Was surprised to learn, after visting Garmin's site, that the unit was no longer in manufacture. It would seem that the discontinued status would have been included in the advertisement. Delivery was prompt. Overall positive.

5 of 5 Good, inexpensive unit Saturday, January 03, 2009
A Customer from Edmond, OK
Can't beat it for the price. Easy to use and does most of what you want a GPS to do. I notice that other users have complained about long acquire times. I have not experience that. I am usually locked on by the time I get out of my garage and on the street.

4 of 5 Good GPS, but older maps Sunday, December 21, 2008
Tom from Arlington, VA
This unit is a great value if you're willing to accept having older maps (from early 2006). It is easy to use, gives good directions, and includes many, many points of interest that can be useful for finding stores and services near your location. The maps can be upgraded to the current version for $50 to $70, but for the extra money, you can get a better model that would have the newer maps (search for a refurbished Garmin Nuvi, because Nuvis get a free map upgrade I think). But if you're willing to have the older maps, you can't beat this GPS for value. The only thing I do not like about this unit is that it does not give you enough advanced audible warning about an upcoming turn. It tells you to turn only a few hundred feet before the turn, which at higher speeds is not enough if you're not in the right lane already.

5 of 5 Read Directions Carefully and you will have NO PRO Wednesday, December 17, 2008
LKL from New Jersey
I have this unit and it works great! I think a few of the comments look like the users are not reading through the manual and taking advangtage of all its fueatures. If you don't want to go the longest route there is an opton for that: just select "fastest route". If you don't want it to tell you to do U-turns, you can select that option too! After I chose the options I wanted I was very happy with how it found all the roads I prefer (Highways) and the fastest ways. As for the map updates, Just read the directons and you will see that you DO get a FREE update for the first few months. You download it off the Garmin website! You can even download other accents - I love the British one! After that download you have to buy more updates. The suction cup is tricky in weather changes, but this would happen to any suction cup. It works best if it is wet before putting it on the window...then push hard as you are closing the latch. This is a powerful unit with so many options you need to look it over carefully to get to know it - then you will love too!

5 of 5 The BEST $100 I have ever spent, love this GPS! Monday, September 15, 2008
Arif Warsi from Colton, California
Ok, before I rant and rave about how great this GPS is, first and foremost every person that uses a GPS have a multitude of factors that play into effect when using something like this. Remember all of us live in different areas of the country with demographics playing a large part of how your GPS operates. I noticed that if you live in a large metro with buildings, skyscrapers, and large monuments blocking your view of the southern sky the GPS takes much longer to get good reception and may cause problems. Second, depending on how active and ever changing your freeway systems and streets are, some of the maps that come with this GPS may be out of date and cause some people problems navigating around town. For example I live in Southern California where things change every few years. Two freeways in particular, the 210 and the 91 are non-existent with the 2006 maps this unit comes with. So people who are totally unfamiliar with the area may have some problems. But besides those two negative things I have to say that this was the best $100 I have ever spent. I use this thing every few days to get around town. The user interface is easy to use, clear, and concise. I don't know how many but I think the unit speaks in like 20 languages which is great for people using it from another country. This unit can find just about anything, food, gas, shopping malls, attractions, hotels, it even found parking lots in downtown L.A. and San Diego around our events which were much cheaper than parking in the parking lots of the arenas and convention centers. Thanks to this unit I have saved literally hundreds of dollars from not getting lost as well as saving me time, money, and headaches. The unite is attractive and the suction cut mounting devices stays tight and secure with a little water added to the cup when mounted. I know that this unit doesn't come with a home charger but what some people have found out by mistake is that the same charger that Motorola cell phones use work on this device. You can find the chargers for about $5.00 at swap meets or the mall. I would have knocked this down to 4 out of 5, but with the minimal map problems and the satellite reception as well as the bargain $100 price tas is hard to beat. Customers have to be serious and compromise a bit, they want the sun, moon, and stars for $100 and as everyone knows that's not possible. But this unit comes pretty close to that, I love it and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants an entry level GPS!

5 of 5 Good Price Good Product Friday, September 05, 2008
A Customer from Roswell, GA
First time buying something newly overhauled so I will see. I had one for my personal use for the last year and was purchasing another one for my daughter. Good product for the price. It saves me time on getting where I need to be without having to look at mapquest printouts. Easy to travel with on business trips especially when I land in airport late at night and have to get to my hotel.

5 of 5 Great Value for Money Sunday, August 31, 2008
Ivor from Forest VA
I bought a Garmin GPS for my car in 2000 as I travel extensively for work usually flying to places and then trying to find places when I get there like hotels and conference centers. I liked my original Garmin and was pretty hacked off when someone stole it from my rental car. I stupidly replaced it with Magellan which was returned twice under warranty for repair needed 8 cards to get me the basic USA and often took 20 - 30 minutes to synchronize when I switched it on. After only 2 years the video display failed and I was in the market for another GPS. This unit seemed amazingly cheap, but don't be fooled it locks in in seconds, is kid simple to use, works well has the whole of the USA built in, is small and compact for packing and has a great screen mount with it. This is amazing value for money and has good loud voice commands, great screen which can be viewed in even the strongest desert sunlight (did that other reviewer have tinted glass on their vehicle? if not what does he/she expect) and is very easily taken down and with you or hidden when you are not in the vehicle. A great value unit I would recommend to anyone.

2 of 5 It's A GPS Sunday, August 24, 2008
A Customer from Texas
I was really excited about getting this GPS because I've been a Garmin fan for years, first with an original StreetPilot (still in use!) and then with an Etrex, but when I started using it was sorely disappointed. I guess if I lived in a city and that was the extent of my driving I'd probably would have been more than satisfied, but I don't. Instead I do lots of highway driving and to places that don't necessarily have an address, which is where the first big rub comes in. To enter a destination you need an address. Not a crossroads, not a street, but an actual address. Once the unit has plotted a course, should you want to deviate from it you can't make your own adjustments, you have to chose detour and hope that you eventually get the 'detour' you want or simply go the way you want and the GPS will adjust your course accordingly. Finally, the smaller streets disappear from view unless you're zoomed in pretty close. So, if you're in an unfamiliar rural area and want to see what roads are there so you can cut cross country you have to zoom in close and see what is available ->ONLY<- in proximity to where you are at the moment!!! Other than that, it's a great little unit. The screen is clear, the sound in excellent, the maps are readable. The other stuff (restaurants, etc.) I'll probably never use.

4 of 5 It is OK for the price Sunday, August 24, 2008
A Customer from Upton, NY
The unit is fine. it is easy to use and cheap. It gets the satellite reception little late (almost a minute) after the cold start. The brigthness of LCD is not satisfactory. In the suny day, you barely see the screen. 99$! Can't beat it.

1 of 5 Beware Friday, August 08, 2008

While the price of $99 is fairly inexpensive, the outdated map on an outdated product is almost useless. An map update at $69 from Garmin makes this not much of a bargain.

5 of 5 Good but old maps Thursday, August 07, 2008
Snowman from Florida
Great price, but the maps are at least three-four years old. Map upgrade to 2009 maps will cost you $70. So it might be a trade off to just go ahead and buy the Novi 200

5 of 5 Garmin StreetPilot C330 Wednesday, July 30, 2008
A Customer from Lexington, KY
Item was as advertised and received sooner than expected with free shipping. The refurbished unit appears new and all accessories were included. I already own a C330 and was so impressed with the ease of use, this was bought as a birthday gift for my father-in-law. Recommend the product and Buy.com.

5 of 5 garmin GPS Sunday, July 27, 2008
Jani Phillips from Hollywood, FL
It Saved our trip a lot of time and gas money and looking at maps that we didn't understand and arguing on which way to go. The only down side was the suction cup did not work well at all so we had to keep the GPS in the center cup holder. We traveled almost 3700 miles in 2 weeks. Overall it worked great. Only wish the maps were current and not so old at one point we were drowning in the river because we were on a bridge that did not exist on the Garmin GPS.

3 of 5 Easy to use but... Thursday, July 24, 2008

Love its ease of use but find the overall product bulky and cumbersome. Nice bright screen. However wish it came with a regular plug or adapter so that I can charge it at home. My car charger no longer works.

5 of 5 Amazing Saturday, July 12, 2008
A Customer from Boston, MA
I do not read maps well, and even if someone gives me verbal directions -- I still manage to get lost. That is why the Garmin is a life-saver for me. No more wasted gas or lost time. I now feel secure when I am driving in unfamiliar territory!!!!

1 of 5 Newly Overhauled Garmin is a Lemon Monday, July 07, 2008
TLL from Pittsburgh, PA
It worked great for about a month and a half. Since then I have spend countless hours on the phone and computer trying to get it to work. The Garmin folks helped me getting work for a day or so; then it wouldn't work again. I am just hoping I can get my money back. Garmin is great, but stick with a new one.

5 of 5 cheap and smart Wednesday, July 02, 2008
mary from monterey park, california
I think this GPS was well worth the $100 I paid for it. I was able to get it up and running easily and now have come to rely upon it since I don't have a great sense of direction. In California windshield mounts are not allowed, but I affixed velcro to the base of the unit as well as my dashboard and it worked fine. I even cover the GPS unit with a hat when I'm shopping to hopefully conceal the item from would be thieves.
