Mom from Western Illinois
This is my second Garmin from buy.com. This is a gift for my son. I personally bought the Street Pilot 340 for myself, which is fine in the car, but wanted something he could put in his pocket. Garmin is a great product and I would recommend them to anyone.
The only issue I have with the Nuvi is the on/off switch. I really don't like the design of this, in that there is a locking feature, along with turning it on/off. It's a little strange to use at first.
One other important thing to note...the Nuvi 205 does not come with the USB cable, which you will need to update your Points of Interest (POI) or to charge the unit from your computer, rather than your car (which is important if you are going to be using it as a hand-held device, rather than just in the car). My 340 did come with the USB cable.
Go with the Garmin though, you won't be disappointed! Was this review helpful?
