If you often drive in a big city with high rises or drive a car that block part of your signal this is a most have, I have use the garmin nuvi 350 for about 2 years an love it until I change my car
an my signal was always poor or none, look like all the electronic in the car block the signal because it work fine in my wifes car but the antenna fix all my problems. Good luck and fun and safe driving.
