Connected the mic to base for my Garmin nuvi 660 and clipped it on the visor right in front of my face. Everyone I talked to said I sounded terrible. When I'd detach the mic from the base and use the built-in mic, they said it was much better.
So I bought another one from a different vendor (same mic from Garmin). The results were the same. Unless there is some trick regarding placement, this mic just doesn't work very well. Was this review helpful?
