Old Town Gangster Hits and West Coast Gambinos concentrate on hardcore Latin rap from the West Coast, while Deadly DJ Cuts takes a completely different theme, highlighting the wizardry of turntablists like DJ Shadow, Peanut Butter Wolf, Q-Burns Abstract Message, Mix Master Mike, and Cut Chemist. It would've made a lot more sense to include West Coast Gambinos, Vol. 1 instead of the DJ-centric set. The set would retain some thematic consistency.
