Josh, a shy, good-natured street performer, is aided in his quest for love by his two womanizing friends, Tim and Sean, who place a personal ad on his behalf and interview all of the candidates they consider not "out of his league". Meanwhile, Josh takes up with a pretty waitress who turned down both Tim and Sean. As the two grow closer, it seems that Josh may have a few lessons to teach his more worldly friends.

Street magician Josh (Anthony Michael Hall, THE DEAD ZONE) has a less-than-magical touch when it comes to the ladies in this sweet romantic comedy. Luckily, his buddies Sean (Ivan Martin) and Tim (Lord Jamar, OZ) are there to help, offering advice and insight into the dating scene, and even placing a personals ad for their struggling pal. But when Josh musters the courage to ask out the waitress at the guys' hangout (Marlo Marron, MI VIDA LOCA)--deemed "out of his league" by his friends--he shows them what happens when love is approached with sincerity.
