| Song Listing | |
| Brandy has come full circle with Full Moon, an amazing album that shows the Grammy-winning singer shining in a whole new light. "In the past three years, I've focused on getting to know who I am inside. I took a break to reflect on myself as a person and I've grown a lot... I'm a woman now." Working with such notable knob-turners as Warren Campbell (of Mary Mary and Dru Hill fame), Keith Crouch (who worked on Brandy's debut record), Mike City and longtime Brandy collaborator Rodney Jerkins, Brandy found herself stretching farther than she had on any previous recording. The entire album soars--from the sonic razzle dazzle of Jerkins' "It's Not Worth It" (which defies copycats to come up with something new and funky) and "What About Us," to the sensuous, multi-tracked Brandy balladry that makes Warren Campbell's "He Is" destined to be a classic; from the title track's throbbing melodicism to the lilting prettiness of "When You Touch Me"--mostly because Brandy wanted it that way. "These songs were selected based on my own personal experiences," she says, "and those of friends, relatives and surroundings." As a result, Full Moon is Brandy's most personal album to date, a statement record from a young diva who is always on the rise. "I've come full circle," she says, "made a 360 degree change in my life and, rediscovered my love for music and hey, crazy things happen during a Full Moon."

Many of these occupy a file in some folks' minds that's labeled "one-shot." FULL MOON serves to disprove such notions in the case of the in-it-for-the-long-haul siren Brandy. The album kicks off with a whisper, as the young songstress lets her voice gently caress the lush, balladic tones of the title track. Things kick into gear in short order though (on the very next tune, in fact) with "I Thought," where our girl lets her feelings of romantic disappointment out over a firm, funky backdrop full of heavy bass. By the time we reach the undulating "Can We," street-smart hip-hop influences have crept into the production aesthetic by way of squiggling synths and forceful beats. Throughout FULL MOON, whether she's belting it out or sneaking in the back door, Brandy lets her listeners know she's more than just a flash in the pan. | Musical Guests | | Fat Joe | | Michael Jackson | | Twista |

5 of 5 She's Back Friday, March 15, 2002 feliciacurry from Dallas,Tx
Brandy is the best of all the singers. She came back with a slammin hit "What About Us", which is in stores now. This is the best CD she made because I can relate to it. The best song on her new hit is "Nothing". If u do not have it now u need to go out and get it. She started out with "I Wanna Get Down" to "What About US" . She went from braids to striaght hair. I like your with or without braids she still is the bomb. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 I love it! Thursday, March 14, 2002 BrandyFansCom from Florida (Tallahassee via Ft.Lauderdale)
Brandy has definitely outdone herself this time. The saying ''the best things come to those who wait'' is evident in this album. The 4 years between albums certainly proves that. She did an outstanding job on her latest album. You can hear how she's matured in her voices...hitting notes we've never heard from her. It makes you wonder if she can do better, because this was definitely wonderful. But knowing Brandy, she'll find a way to outdo herself!!!! I bought the cd the day it came out, and haven't taken it out of my cd player yet!

5 of 5 THE WAIT WAS WELL WORTH IT Thursday, March 14, 2002 LAVONC2002 from CHICAGO, IL
ONCE I HEARD THE NEVER SAY NEVER CD, I THOUGHT IT WAS THE BEST CD. I THOUGHT BRANDY WOULD NEVER MAKE ANOTHER CD THAT WOULD OUT SHINE NEVER SAY NEVER, BUT FORTUNATELY I WAS WRONG. FULL MOON IS UNLIKE ANY OTHER RnB/POP CD OUT THERE. BRANDY'S VOICE HAS REALLY GROWN AND ONCE YOU LISTEN TO THE CD IT IS VERY EVIDENT. HER DANCE SONGS ARE BETTER THAN EVER, AND HER BALLADS ARE LIKE YOU NEVER HEARD BEFORE. BRANDY HAS A WHOLE NEW SOUND AND IF YOU HAVEN'T HEARD IT YOU TRULY ARE MISSING OUT. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 Brandy's Back! Thursday, March 14, 2002 mania5devil5 from Baltimore MD
Watch out! Hold on to your music seat! Watch out Destiny's Child. The multi-platnium singer Brandy has produced another cd. This cd is hot - some people even say bettter than Never say Never. This cd has more of a now a day beat. All of her songs have meaning to them. Brandy's voice has changed and has even more potential. She has changed from Sitting up in My Room to a What About Us girl. Brandy's look is even better, no more braids and hats. Her look is fierce and can't no one take that away. Was this review helpful?
5 of 5 ~Brandy's Full Moon #1 record for 2002~! Wednesday, March 13, 2002 Mckesha Alexander from Memphis TN
What can I say....after three years of waiting Brandy as poved that Full Moon was worth the wait. Enjoy her life with a new husband and baby girl due in early July what more you can ask for. Now on to Full Moon....at first I did not know what to think but once I got the cd I could not stop playing the cd from beginning to the end. Of course my favorite songs are Full Moon, When you Touch Me, Like This, All in Me, and Love Wouldn't Count Me Out. To me those songs have been a part of my life. It really a album for everyone and please go out and get the cd. Brandy keep doing your thing girl and keep been you. Best Wishes & God Bless to you, your husband, and your new baby girl always. 5 of 5 The Best Album of 2002 Wednesday, March 13, 2002 A Listener from Canada
This album is definitely Brandy's best! The vocals, lyrics, beats and production are all on point. Brandy has really grown and matured as an artist and woman. This album has something for everyone - upbeat songs, ballads, slow-tempo, and mid-tempo songs. Brandy's voice is different on every song and she has really experimented with her voice and this album. If you don't have a copy of Full Moon, you are truly missing out on a masterpiece! 5 of 5 Brandy's Full Moon CD Wednesday, March 13, 2002 Fela McClain from Redondo Beach, CA
Full Moon is ROCKIN'. It is smooth, sensual, and edgy. This CD is just what us WOMEN need to express ourselves to the MEN. Brandy was not afraid to say what she felt, but she did it with class. I hope she does a part 2 to Full Moon because you know that as the moon goes through its phases something spectacular is bound to happen. Brandy is certainly rising with Full Moon.
