I bought this rice cooker through google checkout for $15.00. The rice cooker only lasted me for 3 days. Rice got burnt and the rice cooker almost caught on fire on the 3rd use. Maybe this cooker that I received was defective.

I wish there is a "0" rating for the product. The rice cooker did work for awhile, maybe few days. And the lid does not locked. Not only that they never send you the rebate. I finally got them after 7 month later with about 20 phone calls. They always have some kind of excuse of not sending the check. The check that I've got is not even professional. Some one actually handwrote the check finally. I have no idea what kind of operation they have. They can easily be overnight operation. I was very very unhappy about them. It is not even worth having the headache to deal with them. YOUR TIME IS MORE VALUABLE!!!

I love this rice cooker. I have not had any problems with water leaking out the top or being difficult to clean. I love the fact that the lid has a latch. This is a great product for a great deal! Buy it with confidence.

Excellent rice cooker. Cooks perfect rice. The lid locks which prevent steam from boiling over creating a mess. Beautiful looking. One improvement would be to have a place to put the spatula rather then sticking it to a holder. Great price from buy.com.

I use rice cooker quite often and decided to get a big one after I got married. I got this rice cooker almost a year ago with two rebated available at the time so it was a pretty good deal. However, I only got one rebate mailed back so it increases the price I paid and based on the new price, it was just an OK product. The issue I have with it is when I used to cook porridge (requires more water) or cook with various rice mix for a more healthy diet (requires longer cooking time and more water), it gets overflow so easily that made my counter top a mess to clean up. The overflowed ingredence also flooded into the top lid that I had to take the top cover inside the cover off to clean. While I was reading reviews for other brand of rice cooker, I wish I invest more for a fancies model that allows me the ease of mind during cooking vs. constantly checking on it. But if you want just a reasonably priced rice cooker to do the basic rice cooking, this one will do.

Below average quality. Good luck getting your rebate. Mine was supposed to come with two and I had to fight with them for about nine months just to get one. Even then the date on the check showed it had sat on someones desk for two months. They where hoping I would give up on it. Good luck with any of Fujitronic product.

Do not buy this product if you expect that you can get the price after the rebate. The rebate never work. Customer service phone never work. The rebate center phone work but the representative put you on hold forever after asked your rebate code number. This company is not a honest.

I bought this from Buy.com at a very good price. The rice cooker is white with turtle prints (very subtle colors). The unit looks very pretty on my white counter top. The unit works well. A little experimentation is required to get the rice to water ratio correct as with any rice cooker. The vessel is very light and could have been a little sturdier, but this is not a major concern. The metal lid inside that seals the cooker, pops out and can be cleaned easily. I think this was a very good value buy.

Quality is not good for the price (forget about the rebates, in this respect, it should be called Magitronic; simple reason they always show is the UPC is a photocopy, not the original). Dont waste money in buying this, if already bought dont waste postage by sending rebate form.

This is just a basic rice cooker with a nicer latching lid. The bowl is rather flimsy. A good deal if you get a rebate or other discount. If you are paying full price, you can do better and get more features.

It looks nice and cooks well for rice and soup. Nothing luxury though. The major problem is that the lid cannot be take off for cleaning. You also need quite a bit space above the pot for the lid to open.

Overall I liked this rice cooker because it's easy to use just like the Tiger brand. It's reliable and good design. I would recommend that the manufacture should have a good place holder for the spatula because right now they just made a hole on the edge of the lid and then you just put the handle of the spatula through it. They should have a place holder just like the Tiger brand. Other than that, this rice cooker got my vote!

there are 2 issues I am still concerning about. I paid $50 for it in Sep and there supposed to be $20 (I could not remember the exact amount of rebate) rebate. To receive this rebate, you have to provide serial number in your mail-in rebate. While it is very unclear where the series number is. I haven't received my rebate yet, although the rebate center said they will deal with this. The other prob is the steam holder (the white round plate on top of the cooker) is made of plastic which doesn't look in good quality. I used it only once and it looks like it works fine. overall, i think it is a good rice cooker worth its value if I receive the rebate.

This rice cooker is easy to use and with the no stick coating is very easy to clean up. My old cooker did not have a no stick coating, so I had to soak it over night to soften the stuck rice. Clean up is no longer a problem. I am very satisfied with this rice cooker, as you might guess.

It is worth for the money i paid. It is big. But cleaning is a huge issue. We cannot remove the top lid after the rice is cooked and we have to clean it by holding the lid. Steam hole is directly about the power cord atthe bottom, sometimes water comes out of steam hole, which is going to the power cord area.. which is a mess..
